This was the perfect vacation rental, that felt like home. Well decorated, super clean, comfy beds and couch. The view was incredible from living room, dining room, and deck. This home was very well taken care of. Ron was very easy to work with. Communicated right away and a very nice person. There was a place to park your vehicle. Well equipped kitchen.
This little apartment is lovely. It's clean and well taken care of. When you walk into the unit, there is an enclosed patio that provides an warmer, indoor approach to the front door. This little patio is perfect because you can unlock the door indoors while hanging umbrellas and wet coats without simultaneously getting rained on.
When you walk into the apartment, the living room to the left offers a beautiful view of the Puget Sound and Vashon Island. During the day, ships pass in front of the living room and at night, the lights of Vashon twinkle from a distance. The view, and the big balcony, make this rental a must return spot for my family.
The kitchen is stocked with all the cooking equipment anyone could need. The fridge even has butter and a few condiments. The coffee maker is clean and the owner provides coffee filters.
The bathroom is clean and stocked with nice towels, as well as a hair dryer and soap. There were even some left over shampoos from other guests. I think that bathroom had everything guest could need but I didn't look into all the supplies I glimpsed during my stay. There is also a laundry facility in the basement. Fully stocked is the key word for possible renters!
The only drawbacks at this location are the lack of ability to turn down the heat and the narrow winding streets that you must navigate to arrive. However, the drive would not stop me from returning. If you arrive in winter, the only thing that I found difficult was that the night time heat in the master bedroom is overwhelming. Guests have no control over the temperature. I also found it a bit tight sleeping in a queen bed. But, these drawbacks to not outweigh the benefits of the location.
Great location for touring the area, right between Seattle and Tacoma . Nice, well stocked unit with everything you need for your comfort. Save $ and time by eating breakfast at home before heading out, or have snacks and wine on the deck at the end of a long day of sightseeing or hiking. Lovely sunsets over the Olympic mountains.

We enjoyed this location except for the horrible road in (narrow with a jack-knife turn). I was visiting family in Port Orchard so the ferry at Fauntleroy was very convenient. The cottage was small, but adequate for two of us - any more people & it would be close. There wasn't much information about Burien & that would have been helpful. The wifi was tempermental & only accessible in the kitchen. A booster or additional router would help perhaps. The fact that there are stairs into the cottage should be mentioned in case people have trouble with them. Maybe it should also be noted that it's a high step up into/out of the tub/shower. The steep nature of the "yard" would make me nervous with young children.

1st time in Seattle. 5 Night stay could not have been any better. Everything we needed was supplied, even golf clubs. Perfect location, near everything but still very secluded. Thank you Ron.

This is much better in person. The grounds are well-kept and the property truly has the feeling of a secluded hide-away. It's cute, cozy, with many details to make you feel right at home. You have a private deck from which to enjoy views of the water. We have two small boys and they loved it. Seriously, no detail is spared. You're sure to enjoy yourself whether you choose to take advantage of everything the area has to offer or decide to just stay home. There are books, movies, and board games for the kids. We were so pleased and hated to leave.

Wished we could have stayed longer than 2 nights; the Sea to Sky rental was so convenient to the SeaTac airport, and far enough away from the traffic of Seattle but close enough to drive to the city's attractions. Two of our favorite restaurants from 20 we visited over our two week vacation were in Burien - a steep walk up hill from this rental. The apartment had everything we needed, and the decor was so charming - first time I have ever used a clawfoot tub! The owner lives above and visited us to see if everything was okay; I mentioned we were going to visit the sites of Seattle, and it looked like rain. When we headed out an hour later, there were umbrellas by our front door - how thoughtful and we did end up using them. The view from the deck was beautiful, especially watching the sunset over the water.
