The apartment is in center location between space needle and pike market. Easy access to many restaurants and shoppings i.e. Macy. Walk about 10 mins you can get groceries from Walgreen. Other shoppings near the apartment are TJ Max, Ross and others. The apartment comes with full kitchen, dish washer, microwave, oven, fridge, coffee maker and stove. Ideal for ppl who prefers to travel light as there are washer and dryer in the apartment. They even provide the soap for washing. There are heaters in every room including the living area with ample blankets. Would come back to stay at Alfred for my next trip. Attached photo view from the apartment.
So close to everything Seattle has to offer. Never needed a car. The apartment was just perfect. Would definitely return.
We loved the apartment, the amenities, cleanliness and location. It was walking distance to all the key sights--Space Needle (10 minutes), shopping (5 minutes), Pike Place (15 minutes).
Location is great in regards to the attractions that we were heading to. The instructions were easy to follow as well. We did not expect the room to be as big as it was - I wish we'd stay longer than 1 night!
We stayed in Apt 317 for 2 nights. Family of 5. Used booking.com.
As previous reviewers mentioned, this location is perfect for many tourist activities. Our unit had nice modern furnishings with a view of the Space Needle. Free wifi. A nice little basket with water bottles and snacks was provided that most hotels would charge for. At least I hope they were free lol...I did not see a price list anywhere.
We used the parking garage for our van but it stayed there until we left. We were walking distance to everything. The parking garage and stalls are tight!
We arrived during rush hour so there was no street parking to use while we checked in. There was however a small area just beyond the building designated as a 3 minute loading zone. We just used this while checking in. Or there is a pay parking lot in the alley behind the building, you could use this and just leave someone in the car in case the meter police come.
TIP - the callbox that you use to call Stay Alfred has buttons "A", "Z" and "CALL". If you don't find Stay Alfred after scrolling using the "A" button, try using the "Z" button.
TIP - once you enter the unit the parking pass (if using) and lanyard containing fobs and keys will be located inside (ours was on the kitchen counter). The keys are not labeled at all. The little black anonymous looking fob is used at the front entrance. Just swipe it in front of the sensor to open the front door. This would have been useful information to have. Room keys were very stiff and hard to use.
My only complaint is that the linens on the beds looked slept in. Hairs on the pillows and inner sheets. When paying a cleaning fee, you'd expect fresher linens. I would have washed them first if I hadn't arrived so late.
One suggestion for management - the trash room does not allow recyclables. It would be ideal if the professional cleaners took away recyclables. Maybe keep a recycle bin under the sink?
Other than that, this was a great unit at a great price and I would recommend Stay Alfred.
This apartment met all my expectations and more. The views of downtown Seattle were breathtaking and being able to see the Space Needle out of the dining room window was an absolute bonus. It was clean, well equipped, nicely decorated and amazingly convenient. Everything we went to Seattle to do was just a short walk away. Tons of restaurants and night life was within a 10 min walk or 3 min Uber drive. We used a Rideshare car with ReachNow and the cars were always close to us. Would definitely stay here again over and over. The photo was my view that I woke up to every morning
Perfectly located in the heart of Belltown with short walks to Pike Place, Westlake shopping and Seattle Center (view of the Space Needle right from the dining room). The apartment was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend and will keep this in mind when visiting Seattle again.
