“Love this neighborhood restaurant”
Reviewed 30 December 2013

The 5 Spot is hands down our favorite family-friendly restaurant on Queen Anne. Breakfast is excellent but dinner is even better. They have a regional themed menu that changes every few months along with the restaurant decor. The brisket is excellent if you're looking for something that will stick to your ribs, the chicken and waffles is so good you'll go home and dream about it, and the simple salmon is perfect if you're looking for lighter fare. Save room for dessert. The turtle sundae is really good! If you're over 21 sit in the bar for faster service.

“Great place to go for breakfast”
Reviewed 26 December 2013

My 'go-to' place for breakfast. I love the vegetarian hash and most of their other breakfast treats. Fresh orange juic gets two thumbs up. If you know authentic Mexican, then don't order it here as you'll be disappointed. Also, not the place to order tea. But, fab service and friendly atmosphere makes this a fave.

“This Is The Place For Me”
Reviewed 10 December 2013

I just flew in from a conference in Boston and my husband and I decided to try 5 Spot. Huh, it's Boston-themed. I loved it! Great food- and lots of it. Excellent and knowledgeable waitstaff. Order the orange juice. I'm pretty sure they squeeze those oranges when you order. as an aside, they also compost.
Be prepared for a wait, however, this place is always busy. It's worth it.
