“Neighborhood's best kept secret”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 June 2014

We have been eating at the Enat for several years. The veggie combo is our favorite. The ladies make the Injera in the backroom, don't miss the homemade Awazi which will curl your toes! As the others said, ambience is so so.....but the food is fantastic!

“Great Ethiopian food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 June 2014

We came to Enat because our main Ethiopian restaurant, Pan Afrika, closed. The location lacks ambiance but the food is wonderful and since we were the only ones there for lunch during a week day I can't comment on the service. They also serve African tea (seasoned with clove and cardamom) and Ethiopian beer, which is hard to find. I will definitely return.

“Incredible bargain”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 December 2012

we have had the meat combo, both in the restaurant and as takeout. Both were very good bargains at $14 for enough food for two people....The takeout order lacked the two lentil dishes included in the in house version, but both had three good meat dishes, greens and potatoes in addition to several injera...

“Good food and great value”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 January 2012

Honest Ethiopian food, plenty of space to spread out and have a beer, and low, low prices. Veg friendly. Ambience is informal and true to the Ethiopian restaurant aesthetic ... and better lit than most. We go about once a month.

“Can't wait to go back”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 August 2011

I had my birthday dinner here last night and loved everything about this place. It looks a little sketchy from the outside but it is fine inside. Our party of seven was well taken care of. The injera was the tartest I have ever had and the doro wat was much spicier than expected. They were obviously not cooking for American palates, which I like. They also carry Ethiopian beers. There was a large number of Ethiopians dining here speaking Amharic which I took as a good sign.
