“Very good Szechuan food”
Reviewed 15 August 2013

We had a quick lunch here but were impressed by the hot and sour soup and the mains. Well worth visiting, even if the area is a bit out of the way in a rather unprepossessing building.

“Good Sichuan food”
Reviewed 15 March 2013

So far, this is the best place we've found in Seattle for hot pot, recommended by someone from Sichuan. You can get the red soup and white soup and everything that comes with it is good. Last time we went, we decided to try the regular food. Everything was delicious. One of the specials was Hot Black Bean Sauce steamed fish. The sauce didn't really look like black beans, but it was nice and spicy anyway. The fish was boneless and flaked in your mouth - really good. The sour potato strips are almost like what you get in China. The food was not too hot for American palates, but hot enough to let you know it is moderately spicy Sichuan food. The Ants in the Tree dish (which is vermicelli with spicy pork) had ma la in it, also a flavor I've rarely had around here. Maybe we ordered all the right basic dishes, but they all were a hit.

the thing to get here is the hot pot, the eggplant is also amazing. Some of the other dishes are hit or miss.

“All around good Chinese”
Reviewed 12 September 2011

We've eaten here a few times and we always get the eggplant. The green beans are also delicious. The hand shaved dan-dan noodles are special and quite good with a peanut sauce. Also, the service here is great, friendly and fast.

Good for vegetarians as well!
