Recently we traveled to Seattle to meet our new Grandson. Where to stay... I searched our trusty tripadvisor and the reviews were all terrific, coupled with the fact that it was centrally located to two of our ultimate destinations…downtown and Shoreline made it "Our new home away from home!" Everything about this beautiful B&B we loved. Julie and her entire staff were fantastic breakfast each morning delicious! We stayed in the Parkview Room lovely views of Greenlake the park and in October beautiful fall foliage. We highly recommend Greenlake Guest House and our plan is to visit often and stay here!!!!!

Room Tip: The street noise/cars is worth the view and the location can't be any better!

This place is yet another reason why my girlfriend and I have started to prefer B&Bs over hotels. From the moment we walked in, our hostess Julie was immediately warm and inviting and very thorough in her tour of the house and room. We stayed in the Green Lake room which had a seaside motif and view of the lake across the street. The room itself was very cozy and inviting with its gas fireplace, heated tile floors in the bathroom and jetted tub for two. Not to mention the welcome basket and chocolates which were a nice touch. Breakfast was also very well done and I really liked that you could pick and choose a few options from the menu rather than being served a set selection. Julie is very accommodating for those with food allergies as well. This place is a definite find for those that want to experience the city but also have a quiet place to come back to at the end of the day. Make sure you meet Emma!

We go to Seattle two or three times a year to visit family and have stayed in many hotels but this was by far our best experience. The rooms were comfy, the breakfasts delicious and they even had heated bathroom floors! There was nothing else even close for the money we spent. We plan on going back again and again.

Room Tip: The Ballard Room is the only one with a king size bed which was important to us. The rest of the ro...

The Green Lake Guest house was a fabulous place to stay while we were in Seattle. The accommodations couldn't have been better. The location was in a great neighborhood right across Green Lake which has a 2.8 mi path around the lake which is beautiful. A great way to exercise each day of the trip.
Julie, the inn keeper, was super nice, very accommodating, a great cook, and has a soothing aura. We loved the easy access to the coffee keuring, tea, fruit, and delicious homemade cookies. There was also a computer to use as well. She was a great concierge as well.
Overall, this B&B was really great, updated with several high quality furnishings and amenities.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Ballard room for 5 nights and found it quiet. It is a smaller room, but we found t...

We could not have happier with our stay at the Guest House. It is in a great location across the street from Green Lake. Our room was decorated quite well. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Julie is a wonderful host. We will stay at Green Lake on our next visit to Seattle.

This is an excellent B&B. Julie was most friendly and accommodating. The room and common areas were very well kept and tastefully decorated. All of the expected amenities were present. The breakfast and conversation over it were very enjoyable. Julie, while admitting some preference for private cars and taxis, was most knowledgeable about local transportation options, and supportive of our attempt to use buses and walking to the extent possible (and with her help we succeeded 100%). We'll definitely return.

After many stays at many B&B's I have to say that this one is my all time favorite. This beautiful Arts & Crafts home is so comfortable and homey due to the care and hospitality of it's owners Julie and Blayne. The food is delicious. Julie is gracious and accommodates those of us with food restrictions. I cannot say enough about how lovely and comfortable the rooms are. And it is such a plus to have someone so knowledgable about the area and willing to help one make the best choices for dining and activities. A special thanks to Emma for being available to pet when we missed our own pets at home. Perfect. Simply perfect. Thank you Julie and Blayne.

Room Tip: You cannot go wrong with any of these rooms.
