“Urban oasis”
Reviewed 14 February 2014

Powerful sound of the waterfalls, while you sit at one of the many bistro tables they have set up around this cute little garden/park. I didn't care for the area much...bit uncomfortable (homeless people were there...but they seemed harmless) but when you find this place, you just can't believe how peaceful it is (even with the roar of the waterfall!)

“A lovely and relaxing micro park”
Reviewed 7 January 2014

I found the Waterfall Garden by accident. I was wandering around the neighbor, heard the splashing water and was intrigued. It was rather frosty and rainy when I was visiting, but I imagine that this would be a nice place to take a break or eat lunch on a warm day. But even on a cloudy day it was lovely and relaxing.

“Nice little park in downtown Seattle area”
Reviewed 17 November 2013

First, let me say this park is quite small. Some people have been disappointed by this. Second, people have said that the neighborhood the park is in is 'sketchy'. I didn't see this when I visited. The park is actually quite close to several attractions including the Underground Tour, the Smith Tower and Occidental park. It was a little hard to find the park because it is small and it is enclosed by metals bars and a gate.

I liked the park. The small falls are man made but pretty none the less. There is nice foliage all around the falls and nice places to sit if the day is clear. I only spent a few minutes at the park but I thought it was worth the effort to find it and walk to it. It is free. So take a walk, take a lunch, take a few photos and enjoy this hidden gem.

“A hidden treasure in downtown Seattle!”
Reviewed 14 October 2013

This small garden that is tucked away is home of the original UPS delivery men who use to peddle bikes around Seattle making deliveries. Take a picnic or stop by one of the many coffee or ice cream stores and pick up a cup java or a gelato and enjoy the 25 foot waterfall that blocks the sounds of the roadways that surround this small park.

A lovely place to enjoy some tranquility or visit with friends surrounded by the sound of falling water and lunch vegetation. A must see!
