“A small park that played a big part in the resent history of Seattle.”
Reviewed 6 July 2014 via mobile

For many of us in my generation, Kurt Cobain's music was a sound track for our adolescence. When he died in April of 1994, my world was rocked. As a Nirvana fan, I have want to come to this park, set in the grass,as I look out in lake Washington, and reflect. I found it to be cathartic, but admittedly sad as well.

“Kurt's park and home”
Reviewed 15 April 2014

If your a kurt Cobain fan or Nirvana fan. This is a must-see place to come if your in Seattle, WA. You'll have a great view of his house and park. There's also a bench where you can sit and write on in memory of Kurt. The view of Lake Washington whilst sitting there or simply walking around the small park is simply breath-taking! A must see for any fan! The neighbourhood is nice and peaceful too. I can see why he choose to live here!

“Kurt Cobain memorial”
Reviewed 6 March 2014

Visited here since huge Nirvana fan and wanted to see the Kurt Cobain House. The park is very small and adjacent to the house is a bench which has now been dedicated as a memorial. It was extremely peaceful and nice just to sit down and take it all in.....

Neighborhood is beautiful and offers excellent views of Lake Washington.

Easy to get to take the #2 Bus to Madrona Park place and then walk 5 mins to the park.

“Not much to be seen here unless you love Nirvana”
Reviewed 26 December 2012

If you blink you will miss this park. Its in a beautiful neighborhood and has a nice view but calling it a part is a little much. This is really just a grassy opening with two benches covered in graffiti. he graffiti is all in tribute to Nirvana's lead singer Kurt Cobain, the house he dies in is next door to this 'park'. If you're a a Nirvana fan then this is a good spot to go but there isn't much and you'll only probably be there for about five minutes.
