Nice size rooms. The staff goes over and above to meet your needs. Within walking distance from Seattle Center and Pike Place Market. Nice added touches like chocolate chip cookies upon arrival, Keurig coffee in rooms, and nightly happy hour.

Great vibe and a wonderful staff. The location is perfect and you don't have to fight the hills. Highly recommend spending time in the restaurant - either for a dinner or a 9pm happy hour at the bar. There is also a 5pm-7pm happy hour upstairs in the lobby with free wine.

Great location. Room pretty cool...except for the HOLE IN OUR SHEET. Not the most expensive joint in town ($$$) but certainly not among the cheapest. Above average cost (In my opinion.) for a junior suite... at almost $600 for two nights...but goodness gracious... at least NOTICE the hole in the sheet - RIGHT BELOW THE PILLOW LEVEL. Staff should also be versed in sending faxes (and giving correct, incoming, fax numbers!)...good golly that is 1990's stuff. Sandy at the night desk is GREAT as was the nice guy on check in (David?). Would I stay here again. NOPE. Was it terrible? Nope. Would I expect more? Uh YES. . . in my humble, well-travelled, opinion.

A very nice renovated older hotel with a lot of modern touches. The staff is very friendly and helpful with a personal touch. In our room we received fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and a personal greeting card. Keurig coffee available all day and wine served in the evening. The bed were very comfortable and the room was very clean. Everything was in close walking distance.

Room Tip: A corner room gives you a great view of the city. Regarding the noise; you are in downtown Seattle...

Entire bride's family took over hotel for wedding weekend. Service was excellent, friendly and professional. Lobby was warm and inviting for family gabfests. David (manager) went out of his way to make our celebration gathering wonderful. We have stayed at the Inn before and will be there many times in the future. Great staff, great decor, excellent location.

Room Tip: The "Marilyn" suite is perfect.

The Inn at El Gaucho is a throwback to the past world of film and has a wonderful vibe which is only extenuated by the warm staff and 19 fabulous rooms. We picked this this hotel because we don't like the corporate towers and wanted to stay in a real neighborhood. This hotel met the mark on all accounts. Don't look for a Four Seasons experience, although the staff were actually nicer than we've met in Four Seasons but the staff are warm, helpful and could not be nicer. The 19 rooms are the result of an old Maritime boarding house and still have a feel of the past. Everything is within walking distance, street parking that is cheaper than a garage, and an easy drive from Sea-Tac airport (don't get me started on that airport). What can you expect, a very nice sized room, street views on historic neighborhoods, walks to restaurants, and a hotel staff there for your every need. Oh, yeh, they serve wine at 5:00 every evening.

We stayed here upon returning from out Alaska cruise. The only regret is we had is that we should have stayed here before !!! Great vibe! Walking distance to Pike's Market and Space Needle and other area attractions. Truly a beautiful inn. The amenities here are outstanding. Front desk was always helpful and "cheerful" gave us great recommendations. Again, we truly wished we had more time in Seattle and at the Inn, would have loved to take advantage of the restaurant and the movie theatre! Can't wait to go back to Seattle and staying here again.

Room Tip: We stayed in Room 15, Nice and quiet
