Owner description: Seattle's own improvised theater company since 1992! Every show at Jet City Improv is a blast of brand new scenes, games, songs and stories, all based on audience suggestions and crafted into Seattle's best comedy by our seasoned improvisers. Any given weekend features new unscripted plays in the Jet City Improv Presents series, an original comedy series known as JCI Late Night, our flagship Jet City Improv show, and the popular re-dubbed film events known as Twisted Flicks. No matter your mood, there's an audience-powered good time waiting for you at our bright yellow theater. So come grab some freshly-popped popcorn, order a drink at the bar inside the auditorium, and enjoy what we like to call A Higher Plane of Comedy.

“The funniest value in town”

I have been to Jet City many times over the years, and always have a wonderful time. Their usual improv shows (8:00 and 10:30 pm) are funny and inventive, and always get the audience engaged. Their long-form stories are each different, and bring in a wider cast of actors than their short-form shows. And the Twisted Flicks at the end of each month are a must-see. In short, you can find your type of humor here, and it's well worth multiple visits - each show is totally unique.

“So wrong - but so right!”
Reviewed 20 January 2011

I have been to Jet City Improv, and several other shows put on by Wing-It Productions, many times, and they never disappoint. They are consistently entertaining, and the show moves along at a breakneck pace. It's a great deal for the very reasonable cost of the tickets.

If you are a mature audience member, I highly recommend their after-hours shows. Do not go with your mom; I have made this mistake before and regretted it. No one gets naked or anything, but they really know how to make the audience squirm. The fact that they have a bar at the back of the theater really helps to take the edge off so you can enjoy the awkward hilarity.

“Cheap fun, great laughs!!”
Reviewed 20 January 2011

This show is consistently a blast. I've gone both the "PG-13" improv sets and the more "R" rated roasts and, every time, it's hilarious, unpredictable fun. And, being a late-night type myself, I love that there's a show that starts after 10 pm. You will not be disappointed in this live-action comedy, every time.

“Great cheap place to see live theatre”
Reviewed 20 January 2011

I went to see The Explorer's Club, which was an improvised play. Very different from what I've seen on Who's Line is it Anyway. Instead of short little skits they did a full length play, but it was all improvised, but you couldn't really tell- they had all the costumes and lights and props. It was a very exciting show. And only $14! I'll definitely stop by again next time I'm in town. My 15 year old son loved it!

“Fantastic long-form improv shows, and good old fashioned improv”
Reviewed 19 December 2010

I've been to many many shows at JCI and they are fantastic. They teach classes as well and their instruction is top notch.
