The Red Fin is attached to the Hotel Max in downtown Seattle, where I was staying for a recent conference. I ate here on my final night in Seattle, and it was wonderful. I don't eat fish, and the Red Fin is an Asian fusion restaurant with a menu that depends heavily on fish. So why did I come here? Because I love vegetarian sushi! And Red Fin did not disappoint in that regard- the V6 vegetarian roll was fantastic and inventive. The Red Fin menu is fairly extensive and would please a big group of picky eaters. I was happy with the large spinach salad, an unusual choice for a restaurant with sushi on the menu, and they also did up a small plate of grilled tofu in a very nice way. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone staying in the hotel (they serve several different types of breakfast options), and for those who are just coming into town for the evening. Since the restaurant is located on what seems to be the edge of downtown, there was parking nearby, but it was also very much walking distance to many other places. The staff was pleasant and will make you good recommendations if you're indecisive. I would eat here again- I'm thinking of that veggie roll right now!
