Just got back from an Alaska cruise and decided to spend a few days in Seattle. We booked the Pan Pacific and could not have been more pleased. The room had an Asian flair. The bed was so comfy. Had a great lake view. Got invited by management to film festival private party. Hotel has towncar on week days to take you to close destinations. Trolley takes you to lake destinations-bus to wharf. Both are right in front of hotel. Whole foods downstairs covers incidental needs and Starbucks is next door. Also one of best restaurants we ate at is right next door.

Staying at the Pan Pacific was very nice. The staff were friendly and always accommodating. The health club has real equipment, although no free weights. The best thing about the Pan Pacific is the location. You can take the Bus # 194 from SEA Tac to the Convention Station and walk 6 blocks to the hotel. Want quick meals, there is a Whole Foods just steps away for everything, Starbucks and a B of A next door.

The PanPacific Hotel was excellent!! I cannot say enough about the friendly staff, the clean/well equipped rooms, AND the Whole Foods grocery store that was underneath the hotel. Traveling alone to a place FAR from my home was a bit scary but the staff was great with their recommendations for activities and with directions/assistance in getting to those fun places!

Pros: Incredibly friendly nice staff. Neat, modern styling. Trendy, stylish vibe. High end amenenties. Mattress is wonderful, high thread count sheets. Fluffy towels, bathrobes, etc. Free, reliable wii fii. Definitely a luxurious feel to the the property. Great for romantic weekends. We ate at the restaurant and thought it was fabulous.

Cons: Very small rooms, with very little privacy in the bathroom. This place was great with my husband, but I'm not sure it would be as great with my husband and his kides. The soaking tub is one of those things that looks cool, but sort of pointless. I would have preferred having the additional space in the room.

At first arriving to the hotel, the doormen were helpful and welcoming. The front desk staff were friendly and checked us in efficiently. They offered assistance and recommendations for our stay without being too talkie. The location itself was not the most ideal but it was conveniently midway between the Space Needle atractions and the downtown area. I like to walk and was able to walk to most of the attractions nearby. The room was clean, stylish, and very comfortable. We had cocktails in The Bar and the service was attentive and friendly and the drinks made as we requested (Cosmos, more sour than sweet). There was a tv showing the baseball game and the volume was low-key and not intrusive.

I highly recommend this hotel!

This is a very nice, comfortable hotel. The staff in unbelievably helpfull and nice. The bathroom is big and has sliding doors so you can soak in the tub and have a great view. Fabulous bed and big TV.

The hotel has an adjecent plaza with a Starbucks, spa, Whole Foods and restaurants. If you don't plan to walk around it's the perfect choice. But if you want to walk to the Pike Place Market or go shopping it is not the best location.

ps. The hotel is less than 5 min. walk to Rei!

I purchased the room through one of the discount travel websites. Two weeks ago I stayed in a Ritz-Carlton and didn't receive anywhere near the level of service we received here. The check in staff was very helpful, offered us everything we could have asked for and more. We stayed in preparation for a cruise and were pleasantly surprised.
