The hotel is not directly located in the real city center, but it's just a 10 minute walk to real Downtown. Also Space Needle is just a 10 min. walk. The staff is very friendly and the room was big and clean. Very nice bathroom! Fitness Center of a Spa next to the hotel can be used (included). Very good supermarket next to the hotel.

Why #1?
We like the luxury hotels in noisy and crowded downtown but the Pan is our company's favorite uptown hotel. The Pan is 8 minutes from downtown and has the residential feel to it. It's near South Lake Union where one can enjoy the sights or jog daily. It is a treat with a Vida Spa, Fitness Center, Starbucks, Whole Foods, Seastar, Tuttabella and retail shops in the complex. The service staff is consistently wonderful, friendly and caring. Our charming and comfortable rooms are always ready for us and the new 24 hour room program is a superb idea! We are thrilled that the hotel's Director of Operations is back from his special assignment at the Pan Pacific Bangkok. Ron is a professional who always takes cares of us and ensures that we are happy every time we are at the Pan.
Incredible staff, great memories, wonderful experience and value for money. And that is why the beautiful, trendy and elegant Pan is our #1 hotel choice in Seattle.

I spent three nights at the Pan Pacific in Seattle and I was thoroughly impressed. It was my first time to the city and the hotel was easy to find and under ten minutes' walk from the airport tram station in the centre of Seattle's downtown district.

The room was sensational. I asked for a nice view and I was not disappointed, with the Space Needle to a hard left, and a direct line of sight of Lake Union - perfect as my stay coincided with the Independence Day fireworks. The large desk had a really comfortable chair. There was plenty of room to walk about and a good-sized wardrobe. Oodles of space. The bathroom was absolutely huge, with a full-sized separate shower and bathtub. The most unique feature of this bathroom is that it opened out in to the room. Only a sliding door and panel seal the bathroom off from the rest of the room. Not a problem for me, a solo traveller, but if you were staying with someone and you value your privacy, it's not really concealed at all.

I was amazed to find that the housekeeper had bundled and neatly tied my messy cables on the desk. I thought it was a really nice touch and showed thoroughness in the service.

I can't really think of many drawbacks. I booked through Expedia, which had a much cheaper rate than the hotel's own website. While they would match a price, it would only be after you made a reservation directly through them. Also, it was frustrating that there was no spoon, and only stirrers - I'm guessing this is normal in the US, but you couldn't even buy your own cereal and have it in the room.

I was expecting more from this hotel, especially for the price of the room. The room was nice, bathroom was very nice. Only one towel rack in the bathroom so if you chose to reuse your towels there wasn't much space to hang them. I think for the price of the room ($278.00/night), linens and towels should automatically be replaced daily if you are staying more than one night. Gone are the days of this service. The "we care about the environment" is really getting old. You had to call to have these items replaced - not just put the towels the tub, etc. Plus, you had to call for ice. We ate one night in the lounge and wanted Bailey's and Coffee but were told the lounge doesn't have coffee. The bartender did go to restaurant next door and got coffee so that was nice. I would recommend this hotel but it is overpriced for what you get. Our room was very quiet - didn't hear anyone above us or next to us. Seems very well built. One very nice touch was that there was a 24-hour checkout. We stayed 2 nights and checked in at 2:45. We didn't have to check out until 2:45 2 days later. That was very nice.

The Pan Pacific Seattle was one of the most pleasant surprises of my trip to the Northwest this summer. The staff were friendly, the view from our room out towards Lake Union was nice, as you're in the center of the city, and the location was very convenient, as we were close to downtown Seattle, but just on the fringe of it, so as to make it easy to get onto I-5. Overall, it was a lovely stay.

We didn't want to spend a lot on hotels during our trip, so we limited ourselves to roughly $200/night. We expected to give up a bit of luxury, but not so with Pan Pacific. We were pleasantly surprised. Beautiful room. Floor to ceiling windows on two walls, beautifully appointed, incredibly comfortable bed (mattresses approved by the Queen of England!!), excellent and friendly staff. You really get the feeling that the staff wants you to enjoy your stay to the fullest. They succeeded in our case. We highly recommend and will stay again when we return to Seattle.

When we arrived at Pan Pacific Hotel we were greeted by 2 doormen,we entered the hotel and the girl at the front desk wished us a happy anniversary and gave us our keys. A few minutes later some chocolate truffles were sent up with a card wishing us a happy annniversary and stay. A very nice touch. The room was clean and white and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. They have free wifi and the desk and chair were great. The bathroom had a tub that would fit 2 people easily and a separate showers as well as plenty of toiletries. Monday thru Friday they offer car service to the surrounding areas free of charge. I would not hesitate to stay here again it was wonderful. There is also a Whole Foods store right beneath the hotel and a Starbucks right off the lobby that were very convenient.
