This is upscaled Thai -- white tablecloths and lotsa big white plates and a long wine list. But it's more than that: whoever is cooking is paying close attention to freshness and flavor. The results are a distinct step up from the average Thai joint. Service is attentive and helpful.
There are good vegetarian options, but not many: the menu's emphasis is seafood and meat. They have a very light hand with the chilies: to my taste, even the top end of the chili range is pretty mild. But that also means they're not relying on chilies for flavor. Vegetables are on the crisp side, sometimes verging on undercooked ... but they will adjust if you ask.
