We like it very much. The Village used to be very small 30 years ago, with only several shops and a huge supermarket. But then it's been transformed to a very trendy place. There are more and more restaurants and shops. You may get all you need here---dining, shopping, spa, hairdos, books and DVDs, etc. QFC is still here, serving even better food and my favorite bagel cheese spread (almond with honey). The Starbucks is always crowded though. The Italian restaurant (forget its name) in the middle is excellent. Try it. We also enjoy the sandwich place (Specialty?), especially their Mediterenian sandwich. The only regret is that the French bakery I used to visit (which had been there for at least 30 years) is gone now.

We had a few hours to kill in this neck of the woods and we though we were going to just another mall. NOT so. First of all it is all outside, with the feel of a small modern village. There was a wide variety of restaurants and shops, not just the typical mall stores. It even included a outdoor nursery. There were great sales– although maybe that was just the luck of our timing. It is quite beautiful, clean, and well kept with great landscaping and fountains. Although there were lots of businesses to visit, it was not overly spread out and we got around very well. All the clerks and staff we came across were quite friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it for shopping and just spending time in a pleasant atmosphere. Best to go on a good weather day, but if not, they have umbrellas available to loan.

After over a year of construction, U Village has now become a true destination point. They have added a whole new section with what I call a "Restaurant Row". Quality restaurants at moderate prices and outdoor dining for the summer such as Liam's and Joey K.

Anchor stores such as Apple, Tommy Hilfiger, Victoria Secrets, Nike Running, Papyrus - even a QFC...Basically, everything you could want in a pleasant environment.

Maneuvering through is a bit cramped but additional parking garages make finding parking relatively convenenient.
