“What a grand hotel experience!”

We loved this hotel right in the middle of downtown! The architecture was amazing as it wasn't built as a hotel and was redone cleverly with unique rooms that are all different and well appointed. Even the lobby is stunning. I felt like I was in a magazine layout at every turn. Very enjoyable bar location with knowledgeable staff. One of our favorite aspects was the in house restaurant! However, our true favorite part was the location! A bus that is free, right out the front door. A CVS drug store and a bakery all on the same block. Excitement all around made this a happy choice for us. Highly recommended!

Stayed at the Arctic Club when on business in Seattle. The hotel is old and was formerly a gentlemen's club. The rooms are small but decently appointed. The decor dates back to the 30's style, but all the ammenities are modern. The gym is tiny and the key cards only work to open the door after 8-10 attempts. The staff are very friendly and the hotel is clean. The Juno restaurant is over-priced for the food quality and presentation. Overall, it is a moderate hotel that has some good history and a throw-back feel. I personally like bigger rooms and bathrooms, but the hotel is charming. The staff are very accommodating and friendly, which matters a good deal to me. The location, right off the subway, is very convenient for downtown.

I just loved this hotel. So historic. The Staff was incredibly friendly. Walking distance to EVERYTHING! Took them only 5 minutes to get us a CLEAN, reliable car to take us down to where the cruise ship was leaving from. My room felt like it should have been inside of a Castle.

Was there in spring this year.

Great customer service, nice warm cookie at check-in.
Comfortable bed, nice, large room.
Right beside the bus station and in downtown Seattle where the buses are free.
Close to all the sights.

The Artic Club is located in a beautiful historic building. The marble entrance and dark wood lobby give a warm elegant feeling to the place. Close to the waterfront and Pikes place market. If you don’t need a car, take the Link train from the airport to Pioneer Square stop, which is right across from the hotel. This saved us paying to park the car every night, plus parking hassles around the tourist areas, and we didn’t have to drive in traffic. This was a great location for walking to the tourist spots. The front desk and bell staff were very courteous, friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make a guest feel valued. Know that patience may be required with the slow elevator and room keys that didn’t always work the first time. Room was nicely decorated, spacious and comfortable (firm bed) with a lovely soft bathrobe provided. Skip paying extra for a balcony room, not worth it. It was one long shared balcony, separated only by a planter between rooms. Only some of the balcony had a water view, so it was likely that there might be another patron traipsing in front of your window to take a picture. When sitting, any view you do have is blocked by the wall of the balcony.

One of the cleanest and classiest hotels Ive stayed in. Juno restaurant was outstanding! Beds are super comfortable. Amenities included Starbucks coffee and Crab tree & Evelyn toiletries. Rooms are bit smallish but it is an older hotel. You can hear a little street noise but it is right downtown. Overall, a great place to stay and excellent service!

Room Tip: Request a balcony room...fun to sit outside at night and see the downtown lights!

We stayed at The Arctic Club for the last night of a ten day 40th Anniversary Trip. Everything was superb including the location, food, ambiance and staff. Will stay there anytime we are in Seattle area.
