This is perhaps the closest hotel to the Washington Ferry system. It has a small set of doors, but an expansive inside. Everything I saw was very nice, and recently updated: entry/foyer with fireplace, nice front desk, beautiful staircase. In the rooms, I found nice furnishings (like a standalone Victorian-style chair), good work desk, nice bedding. The bathrooms were recently redone with marble and gold-colored fittings. This location does not have an exercise room, but will give you a complimentary daily admission to a nearby gym. It's a few (steep) blocks from the Pioneer Square station. Pioneer Square is not a great neighborhood, with a lot of panhandling (partially due to the large shelter & food pantry in the area), but it always seems quite safe to me, even late at night. Restaurants in the area are ok, but not top destinations. Hotels in Seattle are fairly expensive, especially in the downtown area (i.e., the Pike/Pine area near Pacific Mall). This hotel is a relative bargain, because the location isn't as spectacular. I've stayed a few times, and will return. It seems well-run, and nicely maintained, with knowledgeable and helpful staff.

Spent three nights here starting on the 21 Aug. We really enjoyed the neighbourhood and the character of the hotel. You are walking distance to tons of the City's top attractions. The little bar just outside had lots of great Pacific Northwest beer which is a treat for me. Things were hectic one day due to construction right outside but the caring staff went out of their way to make things easier to take. Our room was a decent size with excellent AC.,a queens size bed and lots of room to move around. We are taking another Alaska Cruise next July and will for sure spend a few days at this hotel first. I can't say enough about the attentive staff here.

Really good location on this hotel, with all the main attractions within walking distance. The hotel itself is older which you can see in the rooms but they're well maintained. Our room didn't have much of a view but there was construction on the roadway outside the hotel one night and we didn't even hear it. The front desk was very helpful whenever we had a question for them. Overall, a good place to stay to see downtown Seattle.

This best western was very close to Safeco Field and to Pike's Place Marketplace. The hotel is on a busy street and there was road construction so it was hard to unload luggage. Also there is no parking close - you have to park in a GarageBand it is not cheap. The $20 rate is per day. The hotel rooms are clean and very nice. Bathrooms are typical but nice toiletries are given. The desk clerk was very helpful with directions and restaurants. It was close to the harbor and the giant Ferris wheel which was also fun.

Room Tip: Breakfast was average.

Free breakfast was a nice feature, but crispy waffle maker was simply amazing :-) My wife ate waffle every morning during our stay.

I stayed here to visit my friend and to sight see Seattle. What I didn't expect was that Seattle would be so cold during the summer. I'm from NY and I didn't pack any long sleeves for a trip in July - concierge was very kind and informative on where I can find hoodies and such.

Room was clean and plenty spacious. Although blasting AC was a nice feature, it wasn't necessary. Bathroom supplied shampoos and conditioner in abundance and it was restocked every night whether we finished using it or not.

I've been staying here on business trips to Seattle for more than ten years. The staff are friendly & helpful, the rooms are good value for the price, the complimentary breakfast is just fine, and the ever-important wi-fi connection powerful.

It's a very easy 35 minutes from the airport -- just take Link light rail & get off at Pioneer Square Station -- and it's so centrally located that you'll wonder why anyone would stay anywhere else. Stadiums are a short walk away, as are the ferries.

Many of the rooms have windows that look out onto airshafts, but that's not as bad as it seems. First, if you want a view, all you have to do is leave the hotel and walk a block to the waterfront, and, second, a hotel room with a view will cost waaay more than this. Just pretend you're in Paris and that the gulls floating around all speak French.

Room Tip: Street-facing rooms can be noisy on the weekend. Ask for a room facing in.

This is a great place that is within walking distance of the Century Link Stadium to watch the Seahawks. My buddy and I take the train up from Oregon City, Or and Olympia,WA once or twice a year and stay at this beautifully renovated Hotel. It is also within walking distance of great Saloons & Restaurants as well as the Seattle Waterfront. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. They provide a wonderful free breakfast with a lot to choose from. You will enjoy this historic hotel in a historic neighborhood.

Room Tip: Ask for a corner room.
