Always stay here and everything is wonderful. We can walk to so many event centers (Century Link and Safeco Field) and the waterfront for dining. Parking is just up the street from the hotel. Not a problem. We park and walk and enjoy everything.

I have walked by this hotel at least 100 times and never really noticed this it. It's very centrally located for any and all activities in Pioneer Square, Water front and even to catch a bus to up town. The place was spotless, the staff friendly, the breakfast had enough to offer for what it is. Yes the parking is a block away, yes I bet the streets could be noisy, and there isn't much of a view, but the Best Western is a Historical Landmark building, built in 1914. It has been beautifully maintained and the price was a bargain compared to other places. Weigh your priority list on what's most important. The charm, price, location and cleanliness was good enough for us. We'll stay again.

Room Tip: If space is what you are looking for, try and get a room with 2 beds. We felt like we were in a suit...

Checked in and it took an hour to find a parking place in the off site parking garage that cost $20 a day. The room was on the 2nd floor and looked out over garbage and a brick wall. Talked to the front desk and was told "that is what you get when you book a discounted internet rate". Funny thing was that the hotel told me to book it online a few days before arrival. Was told that there was another room available for $20 more a night. Asked about a military rate and was told no even though they show them on their website. Probably wont stay here again or recommend to other veterans.

We just came back from spending a night at this beautiful historic hotel, but found the room (209) a bit noisy as it faced the street. I have earplugs so I was ok and my boyfriend did not want to bother changing rooms, so we stayed put. Also, the parking is a block away and is not secured, and a car (not ours) was broken into which I hear is quite common in this area.

Other than that, the room is just beautiful - nice Keurig Coffee / Tea Maker, clean, very comfortable beds, nice breakfast in the morning, fantastic staff and great location - short walk to the Waterfront, great seafood restaurants, and the Big Ferris Wheel attraction.

Would recommend, just remember the earplugs if you are a sensitive sleeper (like me!).

The best part of this hotel was the location. It was in an easy walking distance to the Link Light station, close to the market and the waterfront. I have read reviews that Pioneer Square is unsafe, but if you treat it like a city and ignore the people begging/acting strange and walk with purpose you will be fine. The only thing I didn't like about the room was that the heat didn't go into the bathroom, so we had to prop the door open to get it warm in there. For the price paid, it was worth it.

I chose this particular hotel because I traveled by train and needed to stay somewhere with easy access to the station. This Best Western is lovely. While I'm not sure about breakfast, because I have such a weird diet, even the women who ran the breakfast bar were lovely. The building is old but oh what great bones. It has the kind of front desk and waiting area one can imagine when one waited for a buggy. My room was beautiful and spacious with an unmistakable feel from an elegant past. The friendly bantering of shift change gave me the feeling that employees there are happy and treated well. I would stay there again.
