“Just 20 mins away from major attractions”

We had booked Extended Stay America Northgate for out 4th July holiday. We had booked at this place because we wanted a kitchenette. However we received a call from Booking.com on the day of our journey about Extended Stay being over booked and that they would place us in some other hotel. Comfort Inn is just about a mile away from Extended Stay and we even got a room with a kichenette. The staff was friendly and beds clean and comfortable. The kichenette was suitably equipped and stocked with necessary utensils like dishes, spoons and pans and even a toaster. They were unable to serve breakfast due to some regulations, but the cold breakfast was simply high quality. The danishes and cream puffs that were served were over within minutes but the staff worked hard to keep refilling it. Even the bagels and fruits were very tasty and good quality. They were also in the process of upgrading the hotel and was updating everything from the pictures on the walls to the table lamps and furniture in the room.
I would love to stay in this hotel when I visit seattle again.

Room Tip: Rooms on 4th floor have a chance of catching a view of the mount rainier from the window(on a clear...

It was very dirty and old. The breakfast room was very dirty. Microwave had not been cleaned in a long time, with dry food stuck every where. The floor of the lobby and breakfast room were sticky and dirty. The warm food served at breakfast is very poor quality. The breakfast tables had not been wiped.

Hotels in Seattle are not cheap. I booked this because of its price and it looked like it was just north of tow. Turned out to be very convenient and out of the hype, but only a 20 minute drive, if that, from all the attractions. Great breakfast, lovely room, laundry and helpful desk clerk. Parking inside or out. There are lots of good asian restaurants in the area and a Jimmy Johns for a quick and decent sanddwich. Great value.

Room Tip: Easily accessible from I-5, but even easier to use Aurora Ave, which is the main highway. There is...

Stayed here two nights in July 2014. The evening I checked in, the desk clerk was doing a poor job handing a dispute between two guests about noise. When I got to the room, the carpeting has apparently been shampooed, but was not yet dry, with smell and dampness. I left my windows wide open both days I was there. The TV listing in the directory wasn't correct, and had an unfortunate spelling of "Jewelry". When I went to breakfast, there were signs posted that because of a permitting issue, hot breakfast wasn't available. The parking lots were laid out strangely, and there weren't enough spaces for large vehicles the nights I was there. Room was comfortable. Maybe I was just here at a bad time, and at other time would have had a good experience

More than friendly desk straff. Room was clean, well laid out and comfortable. Desk table did not have a light. Breakfast was skimpy due to a supposed permit problem. All in all a decent or better place to stay. The area south of there is reputed "red light" but saw no evidence of that here.

where do I start

1. BEDBUGS my girlfriend got eaten alive
2. Very dirty and unclean bathroom, bedroom kitchen etc.
3. The Front desk staff was very weird (one guy creepy) and unfriendly and un welcoming
4. The outer appearance was very un appealing
5. Sketchy Area homeless people/ drug addicts walking around but in all fairness a nice area about one block down
6. The breakfast if you call it that was terrible they had a note saying " due to licensing we are not allowed to serve eggs" I was like seriously? it was gross and we ran out as fast as we could

Room Tip: not known for anything but sams club and weird people they allowed pets the place smelled and old...

We did not have a great stay here. Although the room was large, clean and comfortable, the AC did not work so sleeping at night was hot and having to sleep with the window open made it noisy. The bathroom was so small that they had clearly shaved off a bit of the door to get it past the toilet to close the door. Our shower barely worked. I had to have a shower in ankle deep water because I couldn't get the plug to stay up. The shower was leaking so much from the tap that barely any water came out of the shower head. The breakfast was disappointing and not what we expect from a Comfort inn. The parking was not the best but not the worst if you have a small car.
Don't be fooled, this hotel is no where near downtown Seattle. It is right on highway 99 which makes it easy to get downtown but it's still a good drive away. The bus would take a long time to get to downtown (1hour). Try somewhere else if you can!
