We went here for lunch before the Seattle Mariners game. It had pretty good reviews so we thought why not! The atmosphere was nice as was the staff. The only disappointing details was that our food was cool to cold when it was brought to us and on one of the plates the steak was charred black. Not appetizing to my friend at all. We would’ve asked for our plates to either be warmed up and the steak recooked but the service was a bit slow and we needed to get to the game. I understand that there was a cross breeze due to both sides of the restaurant doors being open but our food was served to us lukewarm to cool. What a bummer. Four out three meals were tasty just cold.

We stumbled on this cantina by accident when on the Seattle Underground Tour. Great atmosphere and no tourists (except us!).
Only had the local beer with chips and dips - homemade salsa and guacamole. Salsa was awesome.
Would also suggest having a look at the cocktail range.

I first enjoyed Casa Antiguo on a date with my husband. The food was delightful, I had the duck taquitos and they were fantastic. To drink I ordered the rotating cocktail, Pina Loca, it was pretty darn spicy, and quite good. My husband did both the mezcal and tequila flights, he enjoyed trying them all but found a new favorite in the process.

The service was great, we were in the bar and the server seemed to always be there when we needed her.

I have gone back with friends and enjoyed a few drinks on the funky patio on the alley. The place has a great feel.

This was a little hard to find. It’s located in a small alley between Yessler Way and S. Washington St. Hard to find but worth it! We love Mexican food but find frequently it is Americanized. This was not. The menu was diverse and had vegetarian and gluten free options as well (both needed for our group). We came at lunch time and the place was full. It is small, only 8 tables, but we did not have to wait. The waitress was attentive and did a great job. We ordered guacamole and chips as an appetizer and she brought the guacamole along with salsa. She realized her mistake and took the salsa off the bill. We paid for it anyway because it was that good. Within our group we had the artichoke tacos, vegetarian enchiladas and pollo enchiladas. All were delicious and very tasty. If you are looking for authentic Mexican in downtown Seattle, this is the place!

We stumbled on this place in Pioneer Square. Loved the vibe. The menu had some interesting choices. Loved the fried chicken ( in a Latin kitchen), empanadas, enchiladas. Drinks were delicious and reasonable. Charming service. Will definitely return.
