“Memorable Burger! Worth the try...”

Once in Seattle we realized that all the 'Red Mill' restaurant locations were slightly outside the city center, but once we found our way there we realized how truthful all the comments were! Satisfying portions of juicy burgers with a large selection of amazing side dishes. One of the best burgers we have ever eaten!
(P.S there great variation of shakes is worth a try)

Saw this on Man v Food and thought it worth a try. The portions were a good size, juicy burgers, hand cut fries and big battered onion rings. Our only problem was the location and we didn't have a car. We got there from Seattle no problem but none of the taxis seemed to go passed so we ended up having a ring one.

An exceptional place to stop and enjoy good food. The burgers, fries, fish and chips and onion rings are all great. Be advised that there will probably be a long line during regular eating times.
One other thing: they ONLY accept CASH or LOCAL checks!!! In this day and age one gets so used to using plastic that you should be aware of this.
Small parking lot and not a lot of legal places around to park.

Recently I had family visiting from FL, so we took an trip up to Seattle for them to see some of the famous site-Pike's Market, the troll under the bridge, Space Needle, the locks, etc. We actually ate lunch earlier in the day at one of the other Red Mill locations, and it was very good (see review for that location.) Since we were right there and finishing up our day in Seattle, we stopped in for some road food.

The quality was consistent with the other location we visited, which was very good. They really seem to know what they are doing with the somewhat limited items on the menu. But hey, if you do it well, that works! And they definitely do burgers and shakes very well.

Unlike other reviewers, I found the restroom to be busy, but clean. Yes, there was a line, but not excessive. They did overcharge, but instantly apologized and fixed the mistake. The decor was varied enough to keep us entertained while waiting in line to order our food. We were about to drive back to Portland, so the seating wasn't an issue for us. Due to the wet weather (it is Seattle, people) no one was sitting outside so tables were at a premium.

I will definitely go back to one of the Red Mill locations next time I'm in Seattle and want a burger! Beats the heck out of any of the chains.
