Been to all 3 locations and allll serve the best burgers in Seattle. Good variety on the menu and milk shakes, all for a decent price. There will be a line before the doors open on the weekends at this location and is the smallest of the 3 with limited indoor sitting. Great place to swing by and grab a couple burgers and fries for $10-15 and go to Green Lake and have a burger picnic in the summer time. Always go with the bacon, well worth it. Only drawback is that it's CA$H only.

Searched on line for the best burgers in Seattle and found this place. Was extremely disappointed. The burgers were very thin and nothing like I expected. Won't be going back.

I've never been here when there wasn't a line out the door. They have a variety of burgers (made with beef, chicken breasts, or garden burgers) with a variety of toppings (caramelized onions, cheeses, avocados, bacon, lettuce, tomato, pickles, etc.), fries, and shakes. You'll wait in line a while (10-20 minutes or more, depending) and then you'll wait for your food a while (10-15 minutes or so), but the food is good!

There is limited indoor and outdoor seating, with a self-service water jug and some bar stools along the lobby windows. It's usually very crowded, and finding parking can be troublesome. There's a lot next to it, but it only holds about 5 cars, so you're on your own most of the time to find street parking in the neighborhood. Don't try to bring your stroller into the restaurant, just carry your kids -- there's no room for strollers, shopping bags, or other extras.

It has an old-timey diner atmosphere, friendly staff (but put your cell phone away otherwise you may be asked to leave), and delicious burgers.

I have heard about this place for a long time, and it is all I have heard and more. It is fun, the food is great, and the atmosphere is delightful. We were lucky to find parking in the lot adjoining, and there was no shortage of seating. The most difficult thing is deciding which burger to try, and whether to get the fries or the onion rings, which turned out to be great! It is a 'hamburger joint', so don't expect fine dining. Lots of local history on the walls, and it is close to Woodland Park Zoo, fyi!
