“An unforgettable anniversary getaway”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 March 2014

We spent nearly a week in Seattle for an anniversary getaway, and my husband and I agree that we could have stayed in our room at Chelsea Station the whole time and still had the most relaxing and memorable vacation. The suite was huge- comparable to a small apartment, and located in a quiet neighborhood setting (parking along the street is free and plentiful). Still, you are only a short drive into town and everything you'd want to see or do in Seattle. The room was so thoughtfully designed and decorated, with upscale furnishings and fixtures. The owners have spared no expense, and they obviously have taken great pride in this Inn. From the moment you walk in, you feel right at home. The breakfasts are gourmet and delicious, cheerfully served right to your room. The downstairs kitchen area is thoughtfully stocked with great drinks and snacks for those in-between meals moments. As a pregnant woman, I was very thankful for this option. :) All in all, Chelsea Station was the perfect place for us to get away and fully relax, at an unbeatable price. We have already recommended it to several friends, and should we ever get the chance to revisit Seattle, this will without a doubt be the place at which we stay.

CSI is truly a joyous experience. All other accommodations pale in comparison to Chelsea Station Inn. Best place I have ever stayed. You get more than your money's worth of comfort, service, and style in this fabulous location. It made our simple weekend visiting family in Seattle a deliciously enjoyable hiatus
in heaven!

We spent two nights here this week. We've stayed in many B&Bs and agreed that this one tops them all. It was a perfect home away from home. It's spacious, beautifully appointed, quiet, clean, very comfortable, and filled with thoughtful details. It has a sophisticated, clean aesthetic that has preserved the best of a nicely restored building. We were greeted each day with freshly baked chocolate chunk cookies. Add in a fully stocked pantry downstairs plus wine and other beverages in the refrigerator and it's clear that guests get pampered. Breakfast is fine - the crepes on Wednesdays are heavenly. Finally, if I can't live here all the time I want a Nespresso espresso maker just like the one in the kitchen. It's like having a resident barista!

We stayed in Suite One of the Chelsea Station Inn (CSI). The B&B was centrally located for our stay and about a ten minute drive from downtown Seattle. The unit was spacious and very well appointed. It was unique in the fact that it had a living room, dining area, and efficiency kitchen (no stove). We especially liked the complimentary wine tasting in the evening, the many tasty complementary treats, and the in-room breakfast service. The ground floor unit had direct access to a beautiful patio that included a BBQ range, outdoor fireplace, and cozy hot tub. I could go on and on about the CSI (comfy bed, great shower, high-end bath products, terry robes, nespresso machine, and a thoughtful guide book to the unit and the neighborhood) suffice to say that our stay was quiet, comfortable, and exceeded all our expectations. Thank you!

Room Tip: The ground floor provided direct access to the patio, and did not seem to suffer from overhead or ro...

We are generally hard to impress but everything about Chelsea Station was great. Comfortable, well stocked. Breakfast was excellent...Huge space that was perfect for unwinding after lots of driving. Highly recommend for short or longer stays especially.

Chelsea Station Inn B&B is simply charming. The rooms are spacious, beautiful and spotless. The bathroom is fantastic. The newest addition is an automatic espresso maker--my husband and I were SO pleased. We love our espresso! The location is very quiet yet central for all our interests. We feel so comfortable and relaxed in this lovely B&B.

We just returned from a wonderful 2 night stay at Chelsea Station. After spending 2 nights before at Great Wolf Lodge for our kids, this was a wonderful and relaxing place to end our short family getaway. I wish we could have spent more time at Chelsea station but it was booked completely for a wedding this weekend.

We prefer to stay in B&B's or condos when we travel with our kids as it allows for more space and greater value than your typical hotel, so we were so pleased that we were able to stay here with our kids (11 and 8).

The building itself is beautiful and charming. Very well maintained and beautifully and simply appointed. The rooms are large allowing for our family of 4 to have plenty of room. The kids slept on a pull out in the living room and we had the bedroom.

The location was perfect for us, being right near the Woodland Park Zoo we were able to walk there and not have to worry about parking. Although we never ventured downtown (we spent the day of our check in exploring downtown Seattle) it is a quick drive over the bridge and would have been very easy to get there from Chelsea Station. We fell in love with the Fremont area and the old homes and cool neighborhood eateries. We definitely prefer being just outside of the 'downtown' core and this is a lovely spot to call 'home'.

The breakfasts were good portions and filing and served promptly when ordered. While served a bit on the cold side, they were very good. We prefer B&B's without communal breakfasts so having it delivered to our suite was perfect. The kids were able to stay in their PJ's which was an added bonus.

We especially loved the pantry downstairs where we were able to grab snacks and drinks after a long day of exploring the area. We loved the wine being made available as well. You don't get that at any hotel!

As described on their website, the kitchen area isn't really set up to cook full meals, however there are lots of amenities to make your stay comfortable including an espresso maker, kettle (with hot plate), microwave and mini fridge.

We were even able to enjoy some time in the corner hot tub a few times during our stay which was a nice way to unwind in the afternoon/evening. The Netflix was also great to have to enjoy a movie with the kids.

We had a room on the first floor as we came with kids and I can understand little feet upstairs would probably increase the noise to those below. The inn wasn't busy as we were mid week, so we never saw anyone else except the staff serving breakfast.

Our suite (#1) faced the road and the back deck, so I can see that the room might not offer as much privacy for some people if the inn was busy. There was quite a bit of road noise in the mornings but nothing so much that it woke me up.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Chelsea Station Inn to anyone planning a short or long getaway to the Seattle area.
