The beauty of Chelsea is that it has the privacy that hotel suite and extended stay travelers may want as well as the charm of some the classic B&B's I have visited.

Chelsea Station consists of 4 very formal 'suites' that have been totally restored with attention to detail. The building is a 1920's brick colonial style home and is a block away from the Woodland Park Zoo and Rose Garden. Though Green Lake, The University of Washington and Seattle's Fremont District are within walking distance, Chelsea Station's location is quite residential.

My company thought outside the box this year and held our office Christmas party there. I am very glad Chelsea hosted it. I lived in a home a few blocks away nearly 30 years ago so I was familiar with the neighborhood but I did not know this place existed. I will gladly encourage my clients, friends and family to book here while staying in Seattle.

Stayed 3 nights at the Chelsea Station Inn, which is a jewel of a place. The suites - 4 in total - are beautifully decorated, spacious, top quality in terms of furnishings, and very comfortable. Maureen the innkeeper is so helpful and makes a lovely breakfast. The teenagers were completely taken with the well stocked guest fridge downstairs - even the food in the fridge was quality. We look forward to being there again next year.

Location is good too, across from Woodland park zoo and 10 minutes from Seattle Centre.

This newly remodeled inn addresses every comfort. The living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom, and 11/2 bath set up provides plenty of space to spread out, making it ideal for an extended stay. The tasteful decor is a real treat. Innkeeper, Maureen and new owner, Charlie are both delightful. Across the street from Woodland Park Zoo. Good access to downtown, Green Lake, Fremont and the University of Washington. Highly recommended.

My husband and I stayed at this B&B for nearly a week. It is gorgeous! Charlie, the new owner, paid great attention to every detail in this spacious Inn. Maureen, the innkeeper, takes excellent care of her guests and makes sure your every need is taken care of. The breakfast was plentiful, delicious and beautifully presented. The Inn is located in a quiet residential area 5 minutes from downtown and directly opposite the zoo and rose garden. On a sunny day you can hear the monkeys howl. The Inn was a wonderful experience and we look forward to returning in the future.

My sister and her daughter stayed for one night and it was perfect!! I could not have asked for more. Beautiful, comfortable, home away from home. Fantastic food, amazing service from the innkeeper, and a perfect, relaxing environment. The neighborhood is quiet all night, the room is extremely spacious but still cozy. There is beautiful scenery right out your window, and you're only minutes from downtown and bus routes to take you there! You are absolutly getting what you pay for and more! I wouldnt stay anywhere else in seattle!
