We stayed for just one night before heading south for a couple of weeks and we wished we could have stayed longer. A beautiful house, with great attention to detail and a fabulous ensuite bathroom. The pool is delightful and Birgit is a very welcoming, helpful host. Lovely breakfast too!

We did what Rick Steves mentions in his guide book, a 3 week Whirlwind (kamikaze) driving tour of France and this B&B was definitely the best of all the b&b's we stayed in! The combination of a great setting (Marseillan) a beautiful B&B and wonderful hosts, just couldn't be beat! We're looking forward to going back !

We arrived tired and jaded at Petit Hotel.Birgit and Peter provided us with a beautiful and restful environment where we recharged ourselves. We felt comfortable and relaxed and knew we would get reliable information on any query.

We highly recommend Petit Hotel.

Room Tip: Our ground floor room was perfect .The top floor rooms may be slightly more secluded .

We only stayed one night but were bowled over by the quality of the renovation on this hotel. The rooms are modern, clean and aesthetically very pleasing. There are lots of indoor and outdoor spaces in which to relax, including an outdoor terrace overlooking a very nice pool. Birgit and Peter were the perfect, hosts full of useful information. Breakfast was as much (or as little) as you want. It's ideally located between the fishing port and the old ville with lots of restaurants, cafes and shops run by local artisans. We have stayed in a lot of hotels in this area of France but this is one of the best we have found so far.

We loved our short trip at the Petit Hotel in Marseillan. The place is in a perfect location, a couple of minutes stroll to the cute fishing harbour with plenty of yummy restaurants and a short drive to the beach. Birgit is so friendly and happy to help with anything you need. The design and decor of the place is stunning right down to the breakfast bowls and cutlery. Birgit obviously has a great eye for detail as every little thing has been thought of. The breakfasts are yum especially the fresh fruit salads with Birgit's twist of pine nuts on top! You can have pretty much anything you fancy for breakfast and there are always drinks on offer throughout the day and evening. The whole place feels like a big family as everyone staying there is so friendly and warm. We spent one evening chatting outside and drinking wine with all of the other guests and Birgit. It felt a bit like a gathering at a friend's house. Thanks so much for a lovely, relaxing stay. We will definitely recommend the Petit Hotel to our friends.

Room Tip: The two upstairs rooms have balconies over looking the pool.
