“A warm welcome, wonderful stay”

Right outside of St. Mere Eglise, the perfect launching place to discover the Normandy D-Day beaches- we found the Manoir Quatre Etoiles to be one of the highlights of our latest trip to France (we love France.) If you are going to Normandy, this is the place to stay. Francis and Tonnis were just right, we felt like guests in their home. The room was lovely and the bed comfortable. Francis is an amazing cook- attended to by Tonnis at table, it might have been one one the best meals we had on the trip. We stayed only 2 nights, and wished we had stayed a few more.

Room Tip: The Monet room has a kingsized bed, and a nice bathroom.

Eight of my family members stayed at Manoir Les Quatre Etoiles a few weeks ago when we were visiting the beaches of Normandy. The stone farmhouse is nestled in a rural village near Utah Beach, and it is very picturesque. We also found the pictures on the website accurately portrayed the inside and outside of this nice home. The accommodations were comfortable and the bathrooms were modernized (also had a hairdryer). We have 2 young children, and though none of the rooms could accommodate a family of 4, we had two adjacent rooms which were upstairs, which worked perfectly so the kids each had a twin bed in a room within hearing distance of us. It gave us privacy from other guests and was perfect. A highlight was the breakfast prepared each morning! Absolutely delicious! The owner even shipped back a sports coat we left behind.

Room Tip: The owner was fabulous with advising on rooms for our group. If you need a family suite (we had fam...

Tonnis and Francis Muntinga, owners of Les Quatre Etoiles in Turqueville, gave us a very warm welcome to their old stone farmhouse. Francis is a wonderful cook and Tunnis shared the history of this amazing place with us. Our rooms were modern and comfortable. We have already recommended this to friends as THE place to stay when visiting Normandy.

We stayed for 2 nights. The room was very nice with a very comfortable kingsize bed. The owners of the house were not present (something we knew beforehand) and we were atended to by a local lady. She was kind to prepare us a wonderful breakfast.

We stayed in Monet's room in April for 4 nights. The setting is beautiful, the hosts ( Tonnis and Francis) extremely welcoming, the appointment to detail in the B&B was everything you could wish for, the country side lovely, the location very central to D Day beaches, Saint Mont Michel and Route du Cap. Of the four nights we stayed Francis cooked two fabulous meals that were as good as you would get in a five star restaurant. And you wouldn't believe how good the breakfast was.

Room Tip: Monet room by it self and 3 others at the end of the B&B together

Two of our sons and 5yo grandson joined us for a tour of the WWII Beaches, Mt St Michel and
Normandy countryside..
We found Manoir Quatre Etoiles by chance. Read the reviews before booking and booked, Stayed six (6) nights and was not disappointed. What a delight, a fantastic 17th Century
building, beautifully manicured grounds and a spotless interior. -- The breakfasts were great and filling, the dinners were superb - a four star pleasure -- poached Salmon -- baked Monkfish - Pork loin and delicious Oysters. Tonnis and Francis were exceptional hosts--Tonnis a WWII history buff and Francis an excellent cook. They both were very accommodating and provided a wealth of info about the region and its history. We were so pleased, we all promised to return and will.
