We had read all the terrible reviews of RV parks in Anchorage and decided to head here for our first night. We were so glad we did!
The drive down along Turnagain Arm was incredible and we pulled in around 6.00 pm after getting all our supplies in Anchorage.
The owner was very welcoming and told us to park anywhere (it was pretty quiet). Being our first night in a RV he took time to explain all we needed to know.
We loved sitting at the fireplace hearing other travellers' stories.
The valley setting is beautiful. We felt we were right in the middle of the Alaska we had come to see. And the bear teeth marks in the dumpster lid only added to the experience for the kids!
We only had the one night here but would be very happy to stay again.More
