We arrived at the market with great expectation late on a Saturday afternoon. Since we got there at 4:30 we thought that parking would be easy. We were quite mistaken. After circling a few times we went into the parking lot just across from the market and found a spot. It was a $1 an hour, which was very reasonable. Yes, they had plenty of food vendors, but I thought they would have more Alaskan crafts. If salmon jerky or any type of jerky is your thing this place would have it, but there was little ivory to be found. There were some fur dealers, but prices seemed high. I can do better in Montana or at the Tucson Gem and Mienral Show when it comes to some of these items. I was disappointed in the quantity of various crafts and prices asked. You probably can do better going into the shops on 4th Avenue. It was free to go to this market which was a big plus.
