The hotel's higher floors give you a breath taking view of the snow capped mountains in the distance. I stayed on the 17th floor. On the 20th floor is a 5 star restaurant, which is pricey ($50 per head) but well worth it for a one off, just to take in the stunning view. There are two other restaurants in the hotel, which are much cheaper! There is an English themed pub selling evening meals, and another place for breakfast. Breakfast includes reindeer sausage. Staff were exceptionally polite and helpful, and give you a free map. There is wi-fi, which was well connected. Hotel is ideally situated in downtown. Avoid staying during the Alaskan winter, when temperatures can fall to minus 25 degrees celsius.
