First the good points..friendly staff who know their jobs, good location as in short walk to bussling 4th st. area, comfortable beds, lots of good tv channels, AC for the times it gets a little warm in summer, great shower with the latest massage nozzle, free newspaper, train horns at night, fitness center, prompt airport pickup, pretty clean
Now the items you may not like...the restaurant (at least the breakfast buffet) has limited choices of cold greasy food, room furniture has that dated cream colored fake wood fifties look, not all rooms have nuke and fridge, room chair stained and uncomfortable, broken metal floor radiator cover, bathroom fan did not work, area around hotel a little crummy (but safe), train horns at night, fitness center very small, windows hard to open and close and had no screens and open wide enough to be a hazard for children. The overall feel is that of a Motel 6 in Ohio.

I liked the place and would stay there again but can see why some would feel differently.

Room Tip: Rear rooms hear the train horns louder so select if you like and avoid if you don't like.

We stayed for two days following an Alskan cruise. They offer a free shuttle to and from the airport. The rooms are dated, but clean. The beds were just being updated as we arrived...very comfortable. The location is good, just a very short walk to the centre of town, with shopping on the way..my wife liked that part! The restaurant, next door has decent food. The omlete at breakfast was very good and huge! The staff were very polite and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 219...nice room with good AC..but train whistles can be loud..

Why doesn't Ramada use some of their money & update this place. It smells & looks ratty. A very poor representation of the Ramada chain. They should be ashamed.
