Great break for the kids and the kids at heart from visiting the medieval villages of Provence. And since the water is 13C or 55F even in the heat of summer, when it's 34C or 93F outside, it's also a great break from the heat. The river is tree lined on both sides so there is always shade to be found. There are 3 or 4 little sections of rapids that are fun for the kids. Kayak Vert let's you go at your own pace (1:30 if you rush, 2h if you laze) so consider stopping 2/3 of the way where there is an overhanging tree with a Tarzan rope; and if you are feeling adventurous, you can climb the tree and jump into the frigid water from 20 feet up.
