Owner description: Discover or rediscover the canoe on Sorgue of the 3rd weekend of April at the end of October! It is of the resurgence of Fountain of Vaucluse where famous Sorgue in the color water emerald so crystal clear and clear pours having been the source of inspiration of numerous poets for centuries when they are called Pétrarque or René Char … Come to discover in family, this beautiful river in our company, a warm welcome is reserved for you. Of Fountaine de Vaucluse until Isle sur la Sorgue, KAYAK VERT began to make you taste the enjoyments of the canoeing and proposes you a descent of Sorgue of 8 km.

Great break for the kids and the kids at heart from visiting the medieval villages of Provence. And since the water is 13C or 55F even in the heat of summer, when it's 34C or 93F outside, it's also a great break from the heat. The river is tree lined on both sides so there is always shade to be found. There are 3 or 4 little sections of rapids that are fun for the kids. Kayak Vert let's you go at your own pace (1:30 if you rush, 2h if you laze) so consider stopping 2/3 of the way where there is an overhanging tree with a Tarzan rope; and if you are feeling adventurous, you can climb the tree and jump into the frigid water from 20 feet up.

My wife and I stumbled across this town by accident and we are so very thankful that we did! La Sorgue is the most beautiful river we have ever seen! Water fresh off the French Alps, an abundance of wildlife and scenery fit for a postcard!

Kayaking down La Sorgue was awesome. The water is so pure and crystal clear. We could see the otters, the fish and other wildlife beneath the surface of the water.

Most of the journey was quiet and peaceful, although we did encounter a large group of youths who were quite loud and who were smoking, so we paddled ahead of them so that we could have our own space on the water.

I strongly recommend kayaking with Vert Canoe for an awesome experience.

A must do experience if you stop by Fontaine du Vaucluse, the trip with canoe will be around 2h or less. Sorgues river is beautiful.
Staff is polite and warm welcomed me. They explain everything before departure. I will come again definitely

Water gets people excited. That is clear the second you enter the water with you kayak. The clear and cold water takes your breath away. Regrettably that does not make it impossible for many children to make so much nose you can hear them everywhere. I realise that is not the fault of Kayak Verts because the boats are good and the service is okay. But a nice slow trip down this beautiful stream could have been a lot more beautiful in more quiet circumstances.

I'd avoid the online booking form which doesn't appear to work.
We booked online but there was no record of our booking - like some others. I'd just call to make sure if you do book online.
The lady on the desk needs some warming up but she is friendly.
When we arrived, with 'no booking' we had just missed the 11am trip so had to wait for the 2.30 trip. I think they do trips every half an hour in the season.
Beware that it closes at the 'end of the season' which is the end of September.
We had a great kayak down the 8Kms.
Very beautiful with a couple of places you do need to get out and be helped through rapids etc.
Well worth the €17 each.
