“Fantastic sight”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 May 2012

This is a great example of what man can accomplish when the desires and goals are clear. This is a marvel of architecture and is only 45 minutes driving time from Las Vegas. Rent a car and go there - you will never forget it.

“Hoover Dam and Lake Mead tour.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 May 2012

My sister and I took the tour that not only took us to Hoover Dam with plenty of time to visit before going to Lake Mead for the paddle wheel boat. Be prepared to enjoy a sandwich and chips or potatoe salad with apple or orange and coffe, water, or pop.

It so cool to be able to see something that you always see in movies! I did the tour of the power plant and it was very interesting. Well worth the money!

“One of the Seven Wonders of the Engineering World”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 May 2012

Visiting the Hoover Dam was a real educational lesson for our 3 kids. It is a marvel to see what men were able to build in 1933. The Lake Meade boat ride on the Dessert Princess added to our entertainment. The Pat Tillman Bridge is also a must see.

“It was nice visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 May 2012

Interesting and massive. The elevator was out of service so we couldn't do the whole tour. Is was about 40 minute ride but it took about 3 hours all together seeing most of the tour and looking around.
