We travelled across the States in two and a half weeks and this was the best thing we did! Our guide (Adam) was brilliant and lots of fun, the scenery was incredible and the lunch was delicious.

My partner and I had never kayaked before but we were fine with the 12 mile tour from Hoover Dam, we were in a tandem kayak which I have no doubt kept us afloat better than if we were in singles.

Food and drink was provided throughout and there were plenty of stops to do some walking around. There are toilets so the beginning and end... In the middle you go and 'see the fishes'.

I couldn't recommend this tour more highly to everyone! If your in Las Vegas then it is definitely worth making time to go kayaking.

Thank Kerry H

It is worth every penny. We took the Hoover Dam 11 mile kayak. My wife and I had the greatest time. Yes, we did have to paddle into the wind but it was great. Adam and Jonathan were there the whole time encouraging you when you need it, plying you with water, snacks, a splash of water to cool you down, a tidbit of information or just one of Adams outrageous tales. It was just a great morning and afternoon.
Adam and Jonathan were the ones that took us downstream, But everyone we came into contact with were friendly courteous and a pleasure to deal with (Like you Dan and Celeste). Dan even went out of his way to get us food that met our dietary requirements

We did the Hoover Dam downstream day long tour in late June - it was fabulous! Our guide, Adam, knew everything about incredible places along the river that we would never have found by ourselves. He also took great care of us - excellent lunch, attention to safety, and commitment to making the trip a great experience for everyone. We highly recommend Evolution Expeditions Kayaking and plan to go on more trips with them.

This is my second time with Evolution Expeditions. They are friendly and professional and the trips are top rate. The kayaks are in great shape and we have had 5 or 6 in our group. We got a special permit to start at the dam and it was exceptional. The views all day were dynamic. We paddled 12 miles on the Colorado River , went to the Sauna Cave, Hot springs and lovely spot for lunch. Our guide , Joaquin , was very enjoyable and allowed us to go at our own pace and enjoy all the spots.I will call them, again , next year when in Vegas for another adventure. They also emailed photos Joaquin took of my family , which was a nice touch.

We had an amazing time, with our guide Rod. 5 ladies over 50 with minimal kayaking experience. He was Patient, knowledgeable & showed us a great time. We stopped for a small hike to Bob the river gauger's house & Rod told us the history of building the dams. We stopped in a cave & a beach for a snack. Saw all kinds of wildlife, Eagles, coyotes, vultures & long horn sheep
We originally had booked the trip for kayaking Lake Mead but due to high winds they called us the day before to suggest we would enjoy the canyon tour rather than the Lake tour.
Will do this again!

Thank Chris W
