We choose this place last minute, driving from Death Valley to Hoover dam, you always take a gamble when you pick a hotel online, but thanks to TripAdvisor, and a little luck we landed at this little gem.
Boulder is about a 25 minute ride from Vegas, and was easy to find, the hotel is a older structure, but has been extensively updated and renovated.
Service was impeccable, rooms were clean and though slightly small, more then adequate for most travelers.
The breakfast was included, and was very good, you have a choice of several dishes, or you can order a la carte and get a discount.
All in all a nice place to stay, would recommend this hotel.

We were not sure what to expect when we arrived. It is an old building and rooms are a bit basic. But it proved to be very comfortable and all the public spaces were lovely.

The breakfast was great.

The museum inside the hotel was well worth a visit, and you get free entry as a hotel guest.

There is not much in Boulder City itself, but as an overnight stop to see the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead, it is great.

Good location. Easy check in. Nice amenities in lobby. However, you can't escape the musty odor. Room is small but adequate. Bathroom is very small. Every time you walk in the door smacks into the toilet !!!!
Cooked to order breakfast is a huge plus. Visit the museum. Excellent air conditioning . Only place in town worth staying.

This historic hotel was clean, comfortable, and had great customer service. The price of your room includes a made to order breakfast in the morning. Plus it is only 15-20 minutes from the Hoover Dam.

Stayed one night and was very comfortable. Lot of charm and in the center of town. Room was spotless and nicely furnished. Breakfast in the morning was second to none. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice museum on site about Hoover Dam.

Room Tip: All rooms were on the second floor with elevator service.

This old hotel has seen better (and worse) days. Now being run as a museum you have to expect the experience of staying in a museum. Our room was not a suite, but just a normal size room and it is petty small by today's standards. The plus was that the furniture appeared to be all from the time period when the hotel thrived, which was the 1940's; the downside was that we thought the mattress for the bed was authentic period also. It was way to soft for us. This hotel was at one time used as a "divorce waiting room" when Nevada changed the state statutes about 1929 to permit a divorce after only six weeks of verifiable in state residency and it looks like the rooms were designed for that purpose. Howard Hughes stayed here in 1943 after sinking his plane in Lake Meade, but he most likely had a suite and we would recommend that you upgrade to one also if it is available. The food in the in-house restaurant was OK; we felt that breakfast was better than dinner and apparently the locals do too as they pack it in every morning. On Sunday you have to get there early because of all the locals who slide in, probably after church services. The hotel is rumored to be haunted,..we didn't capture anything to prove it and the owners discourage ghost hunting quite strenuously. All in all if you have to stay in Boulder City, we wouldn't recommend any place else above here, but then again it is Boulder City. If you do stay here, be sure to try out Dillinger's hamburgers across the street: wow, what great burgers!

Room Tip: I would upgrade to a suite if nothing else just because of the room size.

This is a lovely hotel in the historic center of Boulder City. Our room was small by modern standards, but comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. A delicious cooked breakfast in the hotel's dining room is included in the price of the room. We enjoyed an evening walk around the surrounding area to view the many sculptures located along the streets.
