Hoover Dam is very close to this hotel, is why we stayed here two nights, the staff was very helpful, the rates were great which included a wonderful sit down breakfast, I would love to go back and would stay here again.

We stayed one night at this hotel and were very comfortable. Bedding was good and bed was good, good size room and TV and bathroom...business center in a separate room. Hotel was very quiet and clean and hot breakfast was included which was excellent (cooked to order). Beautiful lobby in which to sit and a front porch to watch the goings on. Very friendly staff.
There was a pub across the street with live music outside and The Big Horn Restaurant where we had an excellent meal. Parking was easy and there is an elevator. This is an historic hotel from 1935 and is very nice....

We stayed at the Boulder Dam Hotel for one night before flying out of Vegas.

The hotel was representative of the town - so quiet it's eerie with a crumbling grandeur that is like taking a trip back to the 1940s.

The reception staff were very friendly, helping with fixing my broken bag and directions to the airport. The room was adequate, quiet and clean with a good shower. There's a "business centre" which is one ancient computer and printer - but free to use and allowed us to access the internet.

We went for dinner at a nearby restaurant and took a stroll around town afterwards - at 10pm there was not another soul in sight. The same was true on our return to the hotel.

Breakfast was good though not amazing.

The Boulder City Hotel met our needs well and offered an interesting contrast to our stay in the MGM in the centre of Vegas.

We stayed here for a one night stopover while travelling down to Palm Springs. Although we were a little bit early, they found a room for us (we must have looked tired!).

Great staff on reception. We asked for advice on where to eat and they gave us a number of recommendations according to what we liked. We had a bar meal at the brewery across the road which was good value and more friendly service. Early closing though but then we were there on a weekday.

The room was lovely. Very clean and a comfortable bed. There wasn't a wardrobe or anywhere to hang shirts but as we were only there for one night, it didn't bother us at all.

I'd recommed a trip down to the museum in the basement. For something so small, it packs a lot in and the woman on the desk was full of local info. We found out that we didn't have a haunted room (but we did hear some pipes banging so who knows...)

Breakfast was included which was a pleasent surprise and was a lovely civilised start to the day. All in all - it was a real effort to leave this place, we loved it so much.

We stayed at the Boulder Dam hotel for one night as we were driving from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon. It was very nice to get just outside of Vegas and find such a historic hotel.

My husband, daughter and I had adjoining rooms. It worked out very nice because we had some privacy while my daughter was safely just a few feet from us. I could leave our door open and see her laying on her bed.

We enjoyed the Hoover Dam museum quite a bit. It was interactive and informational. I would definitely recommend putting aside some time to go through it if you are staying here. It is upstairs, on the 3rd floor of the hotel.

In the evening, we enjoyed walking outside. There was live music across the street. We ended up sitting at the tables outside the Hotel listening to the music for hours. The Hotel did have a live band in the basement, unfortunately, they were way too loud (this coming from my husband who is in a rock band himself!). We really enjoyed the ice cream/candy store and listening to the music. We ended up talking to an older local and really learned a lot about the city!

The rooms are nice but be prepared they are VERY SMALL. You could easily hit your head in the bathroom. This did not bother us because we were prepared for a very small room based upon reviews on Trip Advisor. My biggest complaint would be that the beds need to be upgraded! The sheets also are not of high quality. Our sheets actually pulled off the bed during the night and I woke up with part of my body laying on the bed pad (gross!). If the beds and linens were upgraded, I would have put this as excellent lodging.

The lobby is nice with a chess board, piano, and nice fireplace. The staff was also friendly and willing to provide us with some suggestions for dinner.

Finally, breakfast was included in our stay. This was my father's favorite part of our entire 8 day trip. The breakfast was very good with choices of waffles, eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, fruit, etc...I would tend to state that the reason it was so enjoyable wasn't just the flavor and presentation of the food, rather it was the setting. We ate our breakfast at the tables in front of the Hotel. It was a beautiful morning with very light traffic on the Main Street.

Stayed here for 1 night and it's a excellent hotel in the middle of a lovely little town. A great place to stay to visit the Hoover Dam and surrounding area. The hotel has a museum which is very interesting and well done and the lady who spoke to us in the shop afterwards was a mine of information. The hotel is clean with a good breakfast and is in the town centre so you can easily stroll around. The is a lovely shop just accross the road selling home made toffee and candy, very tasty!

Only about 1/2 hour from Las Vegas, and 15 minutes from Lake Mead, this is the place if you are looking for laid back, serene and beautiful. It is the kind of town you can take a walk in after dinner. The hotel has been kept up wonderfully and has a very nice, sunny breakfast and lunch restaurant. The town itself has a good variety of restaurants from brew pub to Mediterranean. I met the 6 a.m. retiree crowd at the local coffee shop -- a friendly bunch of guys. This is the kind of place you could linger, and relax, and enjoy.
