“Provincial Idyll”

We stayed here for 5 nights and had an absolutely wonderful time. The immaculate apartment has plenty of room and is light and airy, particularly with the juliet balcony. We were warmly welcomed by the lovely owner Claudine, and had a very peaceful stay here whilst we explored this charming part of the country. The village of Isle Sur la Sorgue is beautiful. The church in the centre of town is breathtaking and the markets on a Sunday - well you should plan to spend the whole day there, not just the morning as we did. The location is great and was a good base for our visits to Fontaine de Vaucluse (not to be missed), Jean de Florette country (Vaugines and Mirabeau) and day trips to Cannes, Avignon, Arles and Aix en Provence. Having a car certainly makes it easy to get around and there was a parking space at the apartment. Only only regret was that we only booked for 5 days - we could easily stay for 5 weeks and will certainly return in the future. Hope you all enjoy it as much as we did.

“Charming apartment”

My wife and I stayed here in October 2014. Greeted by the owner upon arrival, she has welcoming, gracious and quite helpful. Setting is a quiet courtyard off as shown in the photos. The apartment is on the second floor up a fairly steep outside set of stairs that might pose a challenge for some older travellers, although it posed no problem for us. The main living/dining room features french doors that open out to a view of the private courtyard below. The apartment was clean, well-furnished and well-appointed. Quiet and well-ventilated providing for great sleeping conditions. Best feature is that it is within short walking distance (perhaps 5 minutes) of the centre of L'Isle sur la Sorgue with all of its amenities.

“Fantastic Accommodation and Location!”

My wife and I were more than impressed with the property we rented for a week in L'isle Sur-La-Sorgue.
It is really clean and very well equipped with everything you will need, including wi-fi and retains some of it's original charm, with a great feature wall and impressive beams.
Our hostess, Claudine, who offered us a very warm welcome, was charming and very helpful when required. Claudine's efficiency with communications is first class too!
The property is ideally located, just a short walk from the town centre, where you can enjoy some amazing and inexpensive dining in wonderful surroundings.
