This small hotel, which actually is more a B&B, is placed right in the center of the old town, right next to the old marketplace and the pedestrian shopping area. The owners are very friendly and make a nice breakfast with homemade delicacies. As a funny touch, they place small flags from your country of origin on your table. They also offer newspapers in different languages.
I got a small room at the back of the hotel. I guess the ones on the front will have a really nice view of the old town. The room was small, but big enough for me as a single traveller. There was a desk and the complimentary wireless internet was fast enough to do some work.
There is no elevator, but I am sure the owners will help, if you have problems with carrying your luggage. The building is more than 400 years old, so expect some uneven steps.
I did not have a car with me, but I think there was no parking lot available and you will have to park somewhere in a public parking area.
If you want to go for a walk, you can easily stroll the pedestrian zone. There are two supermarkets close by (Rewe and Lidl), just parallel to the pedestrian street.
