“Go for the wine!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 April 2014

Nosh is definitely worth a walk through a frigid April snowstorm in Nebraska. The dinner menu is rather on the thin side. Just the same, their margherita flatbread was perfect. The real reason to visit Nosh is the wine list. It deserves it's own index, it's so long. The service was fine and the setting, just north of the Old Market district, was wonderfully inviting on a cold night.

“Cozy atmosphere and some nice wines”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 April 2014 via mobile

A group of us decided to visit Nosh after attending Vin Nebraska. We sat on stools at a table as they apparently could not locate our reservation. That one issue aside, we proceeded to enjoy ourselves with some great wines that were most reasonably priced. We had three types of their flatbread offerings- suitable for a group nosh, but not so much to my liking. The Hermitage La Chapelle was a great wine at just a tad over retail and if you want to splurge for something nice, they may still have bottle remaining. Service was professional and the milieu perfect for an evening of wining and dining.

“Love this place!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 March 2014

NOSH has become one of our favorite 'pre-symphony' spots and I couldn't be happier! Over several visits, we have enjoyed their daily happy hour and a light bite to eat before attending Omaha Symphony performances (the Holland Center is just a block away!). They have a great selection of wine, but if you like a well-prepared cocktail (as I do), their bartenders are wonderful! I love their "New Fashioned" and "Clementine" cocktails in particular, but they make a great moscow mule as well (and all three are on the happy hour menu!). Don't miss the duck tacos, hot artichoke dip, sliders, margerita pizza... I could go on and on. I love the atmosphere here, and our service has always been friendly and prompt. I highly recommend Nosh!!

“Service was terrible”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 March 2014

Reservations were made a month in advance for the private room connected to the Main lounge. When reserving the room it would be discussed that we would have Invididual checks and the needs of a party of 20 people.
Upon arrival at the reserved time the private room was already taken. We were seated in separate areas at different tables. No waters were brought to the tables. When placing drink orders they were taken and delivered 3 or 4 at a time. After being there for over 45 minutes one of our party asked the manager if he would take our orders. Which he did. But snide comments from our original waiter started there. Waters were asked for and not refilled. Just a horrible experience. 2 1/2 hours later we finally were able to leave.
Would not recommend unless something was done with the service

“Quick Bites or Romantic Dinner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 March 2014

Nosh is located near The Old Market, NoDo, Century Link Center and TD Ameritrade Ballpark in Omaha. Whether you want a quick bite before games, or a romantic dinner, Nosh can accommodate. Their wine list is extensive. Food ranges from appetizers to flatbread pizzas to light entrees. We have been there numerous times and have enjoyed everything we order. Flatbreads are a favorite, especially the fig and apple. With fig compote, fresh goat cheese, asiago cheese, sliced apples, walnuts, balsamic reduction, honey and dressed greens it's big enough to share, or have leftovers for next day's lunch! The Nosh flatbread is also good, and has chorizo, spanish chorizo, and prosciutto with marzano tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese and fresh thyme on it. Happy Hour Daily from 4-6! Sundays and Mondays are "Date Night" You can share two food items, a bottle of wine and a dessert for $35! Wednesday there is live music from 6:00 to 9:00 - if you're lucky you'll catch a performance by Susie Thorne, a local jazz singer, who performs there regularly. Thursdays are great with 30 to 50% off on bottles of wine. The atmosphere is conducive to romantic dinner, dinner with friends, or just meeting for drinks after work. There are tables/chairs, or couches and tables to gather around to talk and sip a bit of wine.
