First, let me say that there are many worse places. And there are not a lot of amenities near the airport.
The good: large rooms, pleasant staff, good mattresses. Cleaning is...adequate. Wi fi. Breakfast.
The bad: shabby, outdated, clunky tv, AC is a problem- described as "temperamental". Possessed is more like it. Works poorly. Open the window is the best bet! Refrig clanks loudly all night and pillows smell musty. Decals in tub peeling, tub is an unhealthy looking gray. Faucets loose and will turn themselves on. Hmmmm. Maybe it IS possessed. Welcome to Omaha.

We stay in a lot of La Quintas and this one could certainly use some updates, but it was decent enough for a quick one night stop. One thing I was very pleasantly surprised by was the bed; it was super comfortable and I slept great. It was also very convenient off the interstate, and the staff was pretty friendly and helpful.

The front desk clerk who checked me in did a great job. She helped me set up a location in their breakfast room to do interviewing, after the breakfast hours were over.

We stayed at this hotel one night. After a quick check in, the first thing we noticed was the strong smell of smoke in the hallway. Our room had a faint smoke odor as well thought it was a non smoking room. The room had a king bed, which was comfortable. When I opened the curtain, I noticed a live bug in the window sill - and immediately thought of bed bugs -checked the bed but it was okay. The room was fairly clean. The bathroom is very small - just the toilet, and tub/shower combo. The sink and counter are outside of the bathroom.
We went to a wedding and upon return found the smoke smell to be as strong as before. There was also a tour bus in the parking lot so I thought we might hear a lot of noise, but didn't hear more than doors shutting.
They do provide a breakfast - we did not eat there but did have some juice and coffee. The room was crowded with the tour bus people.
The room was $65 with tax - hard to find a room for that rate. I probably wouldn't stay here again - it was okay for one night and was chosen as the place to stay by the brides grandfather.

The hotel is conveniently located off 80 in what seems to be a nice neighborhood Ample parking, exterior looks decent. La Quinta is one of the few hotels that takes pets and doesn't charge you any fees.

The front desk clerk was friendly enough and check-in was very quick. My problem is with the room itself. Firstly, the hotel is somewhat rundown. The hallways are dark and the carpet is a little dingy. The wall art, furniture, and fixtures are outdated. Not that bad. As soon as I walked into the room, I could smell smoke. It wasn't overpowering, but was strong enough to bother me. The toilet/tub are separated from the sink and dressing area in its own little room - and I do mean little. The bathroom is tile, but the dressing area and sink are carpeted. Unfortunately, too many people have walked with wet feet on the carpet (or there was a leak) and now the space smells quite moldy. The free wifi is a nice perk, but it's much slower at this La Quinta than at others. The bed was very comfortable, at least.

The price was excellent, though, but I'm not from Omaha and don't know how competitive the rate was.

If you're looking for a no-frills hotel room, this is it.

I stayed overnight after an event down the street at the Qwest Center and this was very handy. The breakfast was fantastic, rooms were excellent, and i would very much recommend this hotel to other people if your attending an event at the Qwest Center.

Checked in about 1:30 in the morning and everything went smoothly--in bed by 2 AM. The room was clean and nice size. The free breakfast was great. At all times the various staff members were very helpful and courteous. This is one of the quietest La Quinta's we have stayed at. On the down side, most of the parking is on one side of the buidling and there is no elevator to access the second floor.
