Sat on the bar over dinner to try their famous whiskey steak.
Vegetable soup was hot, full and good, bread was dry, and the whiskey steak was indeed very good and cooked perfectly, but not the best steak I had ever. The fillet was too soft steak for me, like it lost its structure and became as soft as butter. Jeff Ruby's steaks in Cincinnati, OH and Peter Luger in Brooklyn, NY are better fit to my steak taste.
It might be that what ruined my enjoyment was the not so good service. Not a single smile of any staff member. They are lucky to have good kitchen.
Still, if you are with friends and want to enjoy the evening (and willing to spend the $$$ for it), the ambience there is nice as the place is packed.
