Many Mexican restaurants look, feel, and taste the same. Our recent experience with La Fiesta was a pleasant surprise. The wait staff were attentive and friendly and offered several helpful suggestions concerning entree choices. Getting extra chips and salsa is often an issue for us at Mexican restaurants, but not only did we not need to ask we had to put the brakes on generosity. This is possibly the cleanest mex eatery we've experienced in over a decade. If the number of guests is any indication to how they are doing ... then, they are doing just fine.

We ate here because it was within walking distance of our "hotel from hell". The food was delicious, the beer was cold (and on special) and the service was good.

We live just outside Springfield and used to eat here often. In the last month, we have gone twice and both times were horrible. The restaurant us cheesy and dirty. Even worse than the visual problems us the noise. People go for the "cheap" drinks so it tends to be filled with loud and obnoxious parties. The food quality has also declined. There are tons of Mexican options in Springfield. Go somewhere else.

Great value, a little slow with service for 9pm and a relatively empty restaurant. Main entree was very good although chips in chips and salsa were somewhat stale.

La Fiesta is one of the best Mexican places in town. The decor is a little over the top and stereotypical, but the staff is friendly. Getting food is fast, but sometimes refills on chips and drinks are forgotten. Prices are good and portions are ample.

On Mondays, kids eat free, and that's always welcomed when you have a little one and he/she doesn't eat enough to justify the cost. They do have mariachi bands on occasion, and that can be deafening if they happen to be in your area and you just want a quiet dinner. TVs are visible if you're into sports.

It's definitely worth a visit.
