“Simply a spectacular, thought-provoking and entertaining experience!”

Words cannot adequately express the exceptionally well-done exhibits presented at this museum. The multimedia shows are a must-see, filled with surprise elements that are jaw-dropping. The state-of-the art mannequins are so life-like I thought they were going to move! My favorite part was the recreation of Lincoln's coffin laying in state at the Old State Capital. I thought I was really paying my respects to our dead president. Everything is done with such care and precision. It's unlike any museum I've ever visited and is simply a spectacular, thought-provoking and entertaining experience, not to be missed!

Tremendous museum that brings Lincoln's story to life. Two great shows and lots to see and think about. Plan at least 2-3 hours. You won't be sorry!

“Awesome!”
Reviewed 19 January 2012

This exceeded my expectations by far! The two theater shows were along the lines of something you would see at Disney. The exhibits are very nice--you walk through Lincoln's life and the wax figures are very life-like! HIGHLY recommend this. Kids love the play room too!

“Museum captures our greatest President's personal life, professional life and his contributions to a united nation.”
Reviewed 18 January 2012

This museum was interesting on many levels to diverse age groups. There is a reproduction of cabin similar to the one in which Lincoln lived. A hologram type visual presentation really makes history come alive. Photograhs, documents and personal effects clearly document the Presidents life, struggles, achievements. I can't recommend this highly enough. One could certainly get through the exhibits in an hour or two, but I easily spent the better part of a day studying the many facinating exhibits. Also there is a nice gift shop.
