If you have a chance to visit Lincoln Museum - do it. The parking was kind of difficult to locate but if you drive couple of time around the block you will see it.

Everything was well covered from early years to death. This is a must.

Before you have doubts about a "museum", this is my all time favorite location if going to Springfield! The replicas of the houses are extravagant and there are so many pieces of Lincoln's historical history that are available to view! You can never get bored at this museum and the shows are great! Definitely should see the ghost show! Totally worth every penny and more!

The museum is very well planned and so informative. It is a fitting tribute to one of our nation's heroes.

This is hands-down one of the best museums I have visited. As we walked in, we were greeted by a volunteer who handed my son a clipboard with a "History Detective" worksheet. There were questions based on each section of the museum. The exhibits encompass Lincoln's early years and the presidential years. The movies are very well done. Visiting the museum helps breakdown the mythical Lincoln into the man who became president. This is a "must visit" place!

We loved the Lincoln Presidential Museum. There were great exhibits, very informative, in a variety of media to hold the attention of even my six-year-old nephew. I particularly enjoyed the late, great Tim Russert reporting on the 1860 election as it would have been covered in modern times, including campaign ads. The kids enjoyed the museum too and there was a scavenger hunt for them to do. I only wish we had been allowed to take photos elsewhere than the central plaza. Would definitely go back, though, and recommend it to anyone who enjoys history.
