Nicely varied menu,duck entree as well as the lamb chops very well done. Service by Erin was well above average. Wine and liquor inventory better than expected,owner as well as his wife visited our table. Delightfully pleasant evening.Had visited before for lunch but this was first time for dinner and was certainly not disappointed.

“Disappointed ”

The restaurant is nice with an outside seating area. Our server was attentive. We had an excellent plum peach sangria to start, followed by lobster bisque which was excellent. Our entrees were disappointing - the salmon had a very strong taste, the chard and Farro mushroom risotto were good. pig cheeks tasted like overdone pot roast with polenta. We may have made bad choices as the restaurant was full but it didn't work for us.

“Lots of wow factor here”

My wife and I ate there on a Saturday evening and loved it. First, the service was excellent. If you can, get Gabe as your server. He did a fantastic job. Others pitched in to make sure our drinks were fresh, empty plates were removed promptly, and breadbasket was kept full. The food itself was excellent. They have everything from jerk chicken to elk loin (which was very good). Desserts ere exceptional and not the usual fare - plum cheesecake and an apricot trio were on the menu the evening we were there. Finally, the alcohol selection was vast and top quality.
It is not a large place and for a short time it was slightly crowded where we sat. Another 12" of space between tables would be ideal, but it certainly wasn't a problem for us.

“pretty good”

My wife and I had the lobster bisque soup which was pretty good. Nice salads and then shared 3 small plates for our entrees. the crab cakes were deep fried and tasted like it. the shrimp/bacon was also fried but at least expected. the pork belly was the best. service was good.

“Interesting variety and good food.”

Augies is in a convenient location if you are staying downtown. We stopped with kids for early dinner and ate mainly off the appetizer menu. We were please with all of our choices. Waiter was brand new, but helpful and friendly.
