“AWESOME!!!”
Reviewed 8 July 2014 via mobile

On our cross-country trek, we stopped at Charlie Parker's because it was on DDD. Little did we know how great our stop would be. First....the food, fantastic. Nice size portions and flat out delicious! Second....the staff was the best we have experienced yet! We highly recommend Charlie Parker's to anyone looking for great food and a great atmosphere!!!

“What a find!”
Reviewed 7 July 2014

It may not look like much from the outside and it may be a little hard to find, but the food is outstanding and the staff saw to our every need. We especially loved the atmosphere and stuffed waffles!

“Best breakfast horseshoes!”
Reviewed 25 June 2014 via mobile

Definitely a "must-see" eatery when you're visiting Springfield. Their breakfast horseshoe is the best I've ever had. Overall, typical diner food, but the decor and atmosphere make it worth the wait. (Lines out the door year-round on the weekends.) Try the 16" chocolate chip pancake--looks outrageous and tastes delicious.

“Popular spot with good food and great service”
Reviewed 24 June 2014

It was Sunday and we had to wait for a table which we were told by our server is typical on the weekends. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. Food was good and the Breakfast Pony Shoe I had was plenty of food. My wife had the Sunday special, a blueberry casserole and it was more than she could eat (I helped finish it, even though I'm not big on sweet dishes.) Unique dining experience that I would recommend to friends.

“Really Unique Place, Decent Meal”
Reviewed 18 June 2014

Being from Southern Rhode Island, pulling up to a Quonset Hut restaurant in the middle of IL was a shock. The fact that this rather inconspicuous restaurant had a great waiting list system was even more surprising! We gave our name and cell phone number, and our party of 6 was seated in the busy restaurant in minutes. We got a text as we waited outside, telling us our table was ready. Quite impressive, and it keeps the little available space inside free of standers-by. Food was tasty if rather standard fare on the menu. Chicken fingers nothing special, fries and tater tots a bit blah, horseshoes really cool and tasty, but quite heavy given how they are made! Had to try them though and we were not disappointed. Delicious sounding specials on the board. Didn't try the 16" pancake, but that lets us return another time! Nice people, great service. Clean place. Well worth the trip!
