“Feels a Bit Like Seattle, If Only They Knew What a Grande Was”
Reviewed 22 August 2014

Nice place to sit and visit or sit and read. Good coffee, good service (very prompt) and great pastries. Adds to the relaxed quality of a Sunday morning.

“New and rustic”
Reviewed 13 July 2014

This coffee house in in an old brick house that was moved to the site. There are pictures of the moving process in the building. It is creatively decorated, rustic brick. They have a fine selection of coffees, teas, cold drinks, as well as breakfast and luncheon items. Don't miss Wm. Van's.

“Historic coffee house!”
Reviewed 20 March 2014

Old house connected to Abe Lincoln. Apparently he gave the guy the money to build the house. House was originally in a different location and was moved. Pictures of the move are on the wall. Setting is the perfect coffee house! And the coffee is really really good! Check it out and I'm sure old Abe would appreciate it!

Good coffee, friendly staff, warm interior with walls wrapped in recycled barn wood and great view of the State Capitol and Lincoln's Home in this restored brick house.
