Very nice guesthouse running by Nonni who treat us with hospitality. He was very helpful with his tips about close area, and cooked the best breakfast we eat in Iceland.
Thanks a lot Nonni and Shalom and best regards from 2 couples from Israel.

My mother and I recently traveled around Iceland. We had the pleasure of staying at Guesthouse Nonni on one of our last nights. I wish we could have stayed there longer! Nonni welcomed us into his home and was such a joy to be around. He helped us navigate to sights nearby, provided us with a more scenic route to drive the following day AND cooked a DELICIOUS breakfast.

Our night there was peaceful and quiet, the room and bathroom was clean, and the other guests were friendly as well!

Nonni also went completely out of his way to help when we had arrived at our next destination, two hours away, to find that an important bag had been left at his home. By the time we realized the bag was missing, he had already contacted our car rental agency and arranged for a way to get the bag (and all of its contents INCLUDING CREDIT CARDS!) to us at our hostel in Keflavik.

Hands down an amazing place to stay! I absolutely plan on going back and staying there for more than one night.

We were Nonni's guests for two nights. His service and attention to detail is personal. The home is comfortable and clean. The bathroom is spacious and well-appointed. You'll enjoy breakfast with Nonni and find he can answer your questions about Iceland and make wonderful recommendations as to what to see and do. Don't pass up a chance to be his guest!

We only stayed there for a night (group of 5) and everything was wonderful. Nonni was very helpful, the breakfast was very very good and everthing was just perfect. Much better than so many hotels I've been.

We stayed here just for one night in February and would have been happy to stay more, if only for the most comfortable night's sleep and tasty, homemade breakfast with its variety of cooked mushrooms, eggs, homemade bread, yoghurts, cheeses, fruits... Neither of which helped my wasteline or our Northern Lights spotting (why stay up at night gazing into the sky when you could sleep in that bed with its firm matress and abundant duvet and pillows!?).

Nonni was extremely welcoming and my partner and I enjoyed our conversations over tea when we arrived and breakfast in the morning about all sorts of subjects, from Murphey's Law (Nonni has a conversation prompting poster of it up on the wall from his travels), to the Icelandic banking crash, to the secret of homemade bread (would I tell you here?! you will have to visit and find out for yourself).

The guesthouse is very easy to find and a perfect spot en route from Thingvellir, Geysir and Gullfoss down to the southern ring road round to Vik, where we stayed the next night.

I would definitely recommend a stay here!
