Food was delicious; service was excellent. A cosy restaurant; may need to book in advance if travelling in peak periods.

Thank Eve J

On first visit I was surprised at how small it was, like a front room in a house. Book in advance if you want to go!!!

The food was of a good standard and the staff were very amicable

I recently stayed for a week in Mountshannon with my fiancee and my brother, and on Sunday we visited An Cupan Caife for lunch. The restaurant was small and cosy, with some interesting local pictures on the wall, and also provided free wi-fi access. The waitress was very friendly and the service was good. The food itself was excellent, and very well presented, especially the desserts!! They have a set lunch menu (€25 for 3 courses, €20 for 2 courses) and it was certainly value for money.

Beautifully cooked meal in quiet and intimate surroundings. Many thanks for a very special night. Was also great because we could bring our own wine, although there is a good wine list available. Will definitely re-visit.

We visited this little restaurant for lunch as we passed through Mountshannon. We were five in our group and were accomodated immedialely. Great choices - as some of the group were hungry and some not so. Staff were excellent especially "Lucy" who accomodated us with a mixture of starters for the not so hungry and main courses for the hungry served with homemade browne bread and butter.
We enjoyed the experience so much that we booked in for dinner the following week. Same experience with service and food.
