We travelled around in Ireland for 2 1/2 week... this was the best B&B of all. Ethna is a perfect host, she prepares very good and healty food, the rooms are beautiful and clean. we had a great view over the bay. in the morning we could see some dolphins.
ethna made good recommodations for dinner or where to go the next days. we enjoyed our stay very much. we will definitley come back when we will visit ireland again.
thank you ethna!!!

In late May, four of us were privileged to stay at Inishduff House in Kilcar, County Donegal. We couldn’t have felt more welcome. Warm breads and tea upon arrival. Beautiful, immaculate rooms with vistas looking across the bay. Comfortable beds and pillows. The breakfasts were delicious, generous, and relaxed.
The best part of Inishduff House, however, is Ethna. I had notified her of my chemical sensitivities weeks in advance and she made certain my room was ready for me. Although we had plans of what we wanted to see, Ethna’s suggestions to see the Silver Strand and Port were the most memorable parts of our trip to County Donegal.
We made our reservations in late winter, and Ethna corresponded with us in advance of our arrival. We touched base before we departed from the states (Inishduff House was our first stop) and Ethna told us not to worry about our arrival time…she would be there to greet us.
Although we spent two weeks in Ireland, our three days at Inishduff House were the best part. We would go back in a minute!

This appears to be a very comfortable b $ b in an area of outstanding beauty. Therefore I was extremely distressed to learn that there was no room on 2 June 2012 despite having a confirmation on 17 April 2012 for an arrival at 16:00. The owner cancelled our booking and did not notify us prior to arrival at the agreed time. This was disappointing and caused unnecessary stress and frankly spoilt our memories of our vacation in Ireland (our fourth visit).

We read all excellent reviews beforehand, but this place still surpassed our expectation. Yes, homebaking at afternoon tea is marvellous and breakfasts superb. Add nightcaps, breakfast tray, clean bedrooms and lovely bathroom. What we enjoyed most was the good company and chatter with everyone else who stayed there and Ethna, herself. What she has created there is a haven of peace and tranquility - very relaxing and friendly. We really looked forward to going "home" after the wet and windy weather of the Irish scene.
Ethna is a local girl, who obviously loves the area and takes a pride in sharing her knowledge and love with visitors. A rare and precious gift. Thank you.

Two nights at Inishduff House weren't enough!
We had a lovely room with an unobstructed view of the water, and a lighthouse in the distance. Ethna has made her B & B into a place that is completely welcoming in every way. She's seemingly thought of everything, all of the details honestly add up to the best B & B we've ever stayed in.
Our room was large, to include the bathroom. Most B & B's I end up slouching to get under the weak electric shower. Not here. It was a proper height with full power and lots of hot water. The strong Wi-Fi signal in our room never failed us which was important as we were making our plans for this trip as we went along.
Breakfast was exactly what we needed to get us going for the day. Ethna has lots of local knowledge and even loaned us her map to make sure we got to the places we wanted to visit in the area.
What really amazed us was how spotless the entire place is, you can tell there is a lot of work put into every aspect of Inishduff House.
I only hope we can make it back sometime.

Touring Ireland with 3 other family members and were "winging it" with accommodations. Near Killybegs we decided to start looking for a room, as it was near 9pm. This was the first place we pulled into and were lucky enough Ethna had rooms for us and was most welcoming ! The rooms were VERY spacious, and IMMACULATE. There wasn't much in the way of restaurants/pubs nearby (walking) so Ethna graciously fixed us tea and served some of her homemade brown bread, which was delicious. While we enjoyed that in the sitting/breakfast room she brought a pitcher of ice water to our rooms. Nice touch ! The beds were soooo comfortable, warm and the shower /bathroom had piping hot water and nice amenities. The breakfast the next morning could not be outdone ! The choices. quantity and quality were as outstanding as the view of the ocean from the breakfast room. Ethna also asked about our next itinerary stop and she shared her knowledge and offered suggestions that we followed, and were not disappointed ! There was also ample parking

Room Tip: This B&B is on a small hill off the road and neighbored by pastures with sheep. I can't im...

Ethna's hospitality is above and beyond. You won't be disappointed. The rooms, breakfasts, tips and recommendations - wonderful. Her calm sweet demeanor creates a wonderful atmosphere. All of us were treated as honored guests - a treat all round. Kitty Kelly's was a highlight too. Worth spending 3 nights and using Inishduff as a base. Ethna is a true professional. Thank you for the best by far stay in our 3 week tour of Ireland. (Clare, Dezy & the gang)
