This place has it all: charm, beauty, tranquility, amidst a bucolic setting. Gorgeous pool, tennis if you want, tasteful rooms, magnificent meals, and throughout it all an attentiveness as effective as it is understated. Can't wait to return. Phil and Penny Weinstein

Villa Clementina is an absolutely wonderful place, in every way. There is no doubt that Dimitri, Fausto, and the rest of the staff, take pride in maintaining the grounds, which are very green and beautiful. In addition to the immaculate pool, they also have a nice tennis court (synthetic grass) and bocce court. But what is best are the people. We spent quite a bit of time with Fausto, whom we called "Il Professore" because of his extensive knowledge of the Etruscans. He was so generous with his knowledge and his time, and we are so grateful to him for making our stay perfect (we miss him very much!). He really loves to spend time with the guests and make them feel special. Riccardo was also very helpful in making our reservation. On our last night, we had dinner in their restaurant on the grounds, and it was a magical experience (Fausto was our host, and Riccardo was our waiter - the food was excellent.) We will definitely go back to enjoy this beautiful place and to see our friends!

Room Tip: All the rooms are good - you can't go wrong.

After reading wonderful reviews on Hotel Villa Clementina, I booked the last two nights of our stay in Italy in Hotel Villa Clementina as a final treat for our family, my partner and teenage daughter. My first impressions of Villa Clementine were that the reveiws had been accurate at describing the garden and pool as a tranquil Oasis although it was quite busy. But, when showed to our villa, I did not feel it was 4 star hotel accommodations and felt garden room, Bed and breakfast was a better description. If you are like me, you will have studied the reviews and photographs of the hotel prior to booking, and I think I had convinced myself that this hotel would be breath-taking, but it was more pleasant, quaint than breath-taking. The room was heavily fresco painted which was pleasant but I am sure would not be everyone’s cup of tea, and it was rather distracting to sleep with many painted faces starring off the walls, the bed was also alittle hard for me. The stay cost 260 euro per night, which was double the cost of our last hotel which was equally as nice as Villa Clementina and also had a lovely pool and excellent food. I had initially thought that the spa,( hot tub )was included in the price of the stay, but it cost 25 euro per person so 75 euro for 30 mins for our family of three, which also felt rather expensive. I think maybe a discount in the spa for guests staying in Hotel Villa Clementine would be nice. If you are only using one hot tub maybe cost could be adapted to usaged not per person. Breakfast was nice but simple and again not 4 star so felt a little disapointed again, it only included one meat which was ham, one hardboiled egg, bread and cakes. I personally feel our stay was not a 4 star experience and overpriced compared to the two other Italian hotels we stayed at. Our 2 nights for 3 cost 800 euro, with spa and 2 evening meals. We eat both nights at the restaurant, which was set in the garden the meal was first class with starters around 12 euro and main around 18 euros and sweets 10 euros. On average for 3 around £110 euro's each night. The owner was a lovely man, who spoke good English. We visited in August, all the rooms were taken so the pool was very busy and pool loungers limited, the owners also had family staying. It did not have the privacy of a hotel but had lots of character and charm, similar to English Bed and Breakfast. So my summing up of Hotel Villa Clementina is, I wanted it to be amazing, but it was just nice and the price was much higher than we paid at the other Italian hotels we stayed.

Room Tip: We stayed in the junior suite but the second room was made into a bed for my daughter.

Dear Madam,
I'm sorry to read that we were not able to meet your needs and expectations,
but sometimes we can not please everyone.
What I regret most, however, is to read a strong criticism about our job.
You are disappointed for the breakfast? May be legitimate
You are terrified by the frescoes? The art is something subjective
The Spa is too much expensive? The spa is a luxury, not an obligation
But we do not accept to be challenged our 4 stars. We have earned with professionalism and hard work. They are not been assigned by divine grace.

We have three small kids and are always made to feel so welcome by everyone at Villa Clementina. We get the same room and order the same food, every time we come. With kids, that's really heavenly! We shall be back.

Room Tip: Favole is a lovely suite which takes two adults and two kids (three at a squeeze)

We live in Rome and were looking for a tranquil spot to enjoy the weekend. Villa Clementina was exactly the thing. The service was charming and we were made to feel like special guests in an intimate hotel. I particularly loved the garden and the non chlorinated (salt treated) pool. We played tennis, swam and generally enjoyed a peaceful time. The spa was also excellent. We left feeling fantastic. A special mention should also be given to the food. It is outstanding.

My husband and I stayed at the beautiful Hotel Villa Clementina in early July. It was an oasis after two busy, touristy days in Rome. Couldn't have asked for more gracious and knowledgeable hosts - Fausto and Paula. Disappointed we did not have an opportunity to dine at the hotel as it was closed but Fausto recommended a terrific restaurant in Bracciano. Would absolutely recommend!

This was our second visit to Villa Clementina, and it will certainly not be our last.

The Villa is exceptional. It is set in vast grounds, with relaxing space around the pool and meandering paths throughout the grounds. The rooms are set within this vivid landscape, surrounded by plants, and verdant vegetation.

The rooms themselves are comfortable. They are pleasantly decorated, and not too overstated. The beds are comfortable, with air conditioning and ample space. They are not luxurious but the setting more than amplifies the ambience.

The hosts are out of this world. A special thanks goes to Fausto. He is the life and soul of this accommodation. Clementina is quietly elegant inspecting the hotel, and keeping everyone on their toes. Paula, Riccardo, Allesandro, and Rosalinda all match their qualities, taking care of everyone's needs - nothing is too much to ask for.

The restaurant is superb. The choice is not vast, but the food is it elegant, and wonderfully prepared, fresh, and tasty. It has a wine selection to match.

Out only regret - that we could not visit more often. We do hope that we can return, if only for a few days very soon! Our warm wishes to all at Villa Clementina.
